The Domus LF-G95 is a 7.5 W LED filament globe in the G95 spherical shape — Ø95 mm, in clear or frosted glass, E27 or B22, and 2700 K or 6500 K, giving 750–800 lumens. Dimmable.
✅ It comes frosted as well as clear, and the supplier's own description only mentions clear. Four of the eight variants are frosted, and on a globe this size that is a materially different product:
That is the shortest life in this catalogue, against 35,000 to 50,000 for most Domus LED products. It is normal for a filament LED — the filaments sit in a glass envelope with nowhere for heat to escape, and heat is what ends an LED's life.
⚠ If these are going into a hospitality fitout, budget for replacement and put them somewhere reachable.
Fully dimmable with a suitable dimmer. A filament globe at about 30% is the closest LED gets to the low warm glow of old incandescent, and on a Ø95 mm sphere the effect is particularly good.
⚠ Dimmable LED globes are fussy about dimmers. Tell us which one you have and we will confirm the pairing — flicker at the bottom of the range is the usual sign of a mismatch.
E27 is the Edison screw common on modern fittings; B22 is the push-and-twist bayonet still found across older Australian homes. ⚠ They are not interchangeable.
CRI ≥80, 360° emission — light in every direction, like the incandescent it imitates, which is why it works in bare fittings where a directional LED looks wrong. IP20 — indoor and dry only, 240 V. Warranty 3 years.
⚠ Our wattage record holds two values, 7.2 W and 8.5 W, and the datasheet says 7.5 W. We have published the manufacturer's figure.
G95 spherical, Ø95 mm × 135 mm, in clear or frosted glass. 7.5 W LED filament (our record holds 7.2 W and 8.5 W) giving 750 lm at 2700 K or 800 lm at 6500 K. CRI ≥80, 360° emission, fully dimmable with a suitable dimmer. E27 or B22 base. ⚠ 15,000 hours — the shortest in this catalogue, normal for a filament LED. 240 V, IP20 — indoor and dry only. Warranty 3 years.

Yes — four of the eight variants are frosted, though the supplier’s own description mentions only clear. On a globe this size the difference is material: clear makes the filaments the feature, frosted makes the whole Ø95 mm sphere glow evenly, which is a genuinely handsome bare-globe fitting and far more comfortable to sit near.
It is a filament LED — the filaments sit in a glass envelope with nowhere for heat to escape, and heat is what ends an LED’s life. That is normal for the type, but it is the shortest life in this catalogue against the 35,000 to 50,000 most Domus products claim. At three hours a day it is about thirteen years; in a café running twelve hours a day, about three. If these are going into a hospitality fitout, budget for replacement and put them somewhere reachable.
Ø95 mm and 135 mm long — substantially larger than a standard A60 household globe, about half again the diameter. That size is what makes it look deliberate in a bare fitting, but check it fits: it will not go inside a small shade, and in a close-fitting pendant it may foul the glass.
Yes, fully, with a suitable dimmer — and about 30% is where these globes look best, particularly on a sphere this size. Dimmable LED globes are fussy about dimmers, so tell us which one you have and we will confirm the pairing; flicker at the bottom of the range is the usual sign of a mismatch.
2700 K for almost every use — it is what makes a filament globe look right. 6500 K is a cold daylight white and an unusual pairing with a decorative filament: it suits a workshop, garage or crisp retail display, but in a domestic pendant it will look wrong, because the warm visual language of a filament fights a cold colour.
E27 is the Edison screw common on modern fittings; B22 is the push-and-twist bayonet still found in older Australian homes. They are not interchangeable — check the fitting rather than the old globe.
7.5 W per the datasheet. Our own record holds two values, 7.2 W and 8.5 W, and neither matches — so we have published the manufacturer’s figure.
