The Rotif TL is a table lamp in iron with a clear glass dome shade, in brass — taking one E14 globe to 25 W.

The datasheet attached to this product is the floor lamp’s. It gives a height of 1,500 mm and a weight of 4.4 kg — a floor lamp’s figures on a table lamp. No dimensions are published here. Tell us your table and we will confirm the size before you order.

A clear dome, so the globe is the decoration

Not frosted, not opal — clear glass. The globe is fully visible, which means the one you fit is the look. A warm decorative filament globe is genuinely worth the money here; a plain white one will read as unfinished. And because the dome is clear, it throws light in every direction rather than pooling it downward — an ambient lamp, not a reading light.

E14, not E27 — and the sources disagree

We publish E14 small Edison screw, which our product record and the live specification both give. ⚠ The attached datasheet says E27 — but that sheet belongs to the floor lamp, so we are not weighting it. Confirm with us before buying globes if you want to be certain.

Brass with clear glass

Warm metal under transparent glass, so the whole lamp reads as light and open — there is no solid mass to it. That is what makes a dome lamp work on a crowded console or a small bedside table where a fabric shade would feel heavy.

Plug in and use it — but it needs assembling

Class II, double insulated, no earth required, with a lead and plug fitted. Assembly is required and instructions are in the box — worth knowing before it arrives.

It is a whole range

Rotif is made as a floor lamp, this table lamp and a pendant, all in iron with the same clear glass dome. A floor lamp beside the chair with this on the side table reads as one pairing.

Where it works
  • Consoles and bedsides, where a fabric shade would feel heavy.
  • As ambient light rather than reading light.
  • Classic and contemporary interiors alike.
  • Alongside the Rotif floor lamp and pendant.
Specifying it

In iron and clear glass, brass. One E14 globe to 25 W, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class II — double insulated, no earth required, lead and plug fitted, assembly required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.

⚠ No dimensions are published — ask us. Supplied and supported by Lights For You.

Questions
How big is it?

We cannot tell you. The datasheet attached to this product is the floor lamp's — it gives a height of 1,500 mm and a weight of 4.4 kg for a table lamp. Tell us your table and we will confirm.

What globe does it take?

One E14 small Edison screw up to 25 W, which our record and the live specification both give. The attached datasheet says E27, but it belongs to the floor lamp. Confirm with us if you want certainty.

Which globe should I fit?

A warm decorative filament globe. The dome is clear glass, so the globe is fully visible and the one you choose is the look — a plain white globe will read as unfinished.

Is it a reading lamp?

No, ambient. A clear dome throws light in every direction rather than pooling it downward.

Does it need assembly?

Yes, with instructions in the box. It is otherwise plug-in — double insulated with a lead and plug.

Do I need an electrician?

No.

Are there matching fittings?

Yes — a Rotif floor lamp and pendant, all in iron with the same clear glass dome.
