Molena Rectangular Pendant Light 10Lt in Chrome or Gold

The Molena rectangular is the linear member of the Molena family — 1,000 mm long, carrying ten G9 lights behind crystal on an aluminium frame. Where the round Molenas centre a room, this one runs along a table.

A metre long, so it follows the table

At 1,000 mm × 420 mm it is made to sit above a rectangular table or island, aligned with the long axis. Over a round table it will look stranded — that is what the round Molenas are for. It suits a table of roughly 1.4 m or more so the crystal stays inside the table footprint.

Ten G9 globes at three watts, none supplied

Each holder takes a G9 globe up to 3 W — 30 W across the fitting, and no globes are included. Order ten identical globes and a spare. Crystal magnifies any difference between lamps, so mixing brands or colour temperatures will show.

Plan the canopy and the drop

The canopy is 300 mm long and 80 mm wide with a 25 mm projection, and suspension is 2,000 mm, shortened at installation. Because the canopy is long, the ceiling fixing has to land on structure across that length — worth confirming with the electrician before the ceiling is closed.

• Kitchen islands, run along the bench rather than across it.
• Entry halls over a long console.
• Meeting and boardroom tables wanting one linear decorative fitting.

Specifying it

1,000 mm long, 420 mm deep, 360 mm high, in aluminium and crystal, chrome or gold. Ten G9 holders, 30 W total. It runs on 240 V, is IP20 and indoor only, and is Class I — an earth is required. Dimming is globe dependent. Warranty is three years.
