Product Description
xThe Arc Large is a plaster wall light with a curved aperture that throws a soft fan of light up the wall. It is the bigger of the two Arc sizes and takes an E14 lamp rather than the small version's G9 capsule, which is the practical difference between them: more room in the body and a more common globe base. Supplied in white high-density plaster and ready to paint, it is designed to be finished in the wall colour so the arc of light reads and the fitting does not. It is IP20 rated — indoor use only, never an exposed wall or an open alfresco.
The choice to make
Colour temperature separates the two part numbers. HV8026C is cool white at 5500K and produces 240 lm; HV8026W is warm white at 3000K and produces 220 lm. Choose 3000K where the wash sits alongside timber, paint and soft furnishings; choose 5500K where you want a crisper, more contemporary read. Both draw 3 W at 240 V.
Where it works
- Long hallways in rendered homes, painted out so the arcs of light give the rhythm.
- Formal entry walls, where a single Arc does more visually than a downlight.
- Internal stairwells, marking the flight without a surface-mounted fitting to catch on.
- Living and dining feature walls where the curve of the wash is the intended effect.
Specifying it
The Arc Large wires straight to 240 V AC mains. There is no driver or transformer involved. It is a Class 1 fitting, so an earth is required and a licensed electrician must make the connection. The globe is an E14 small screw base and is replaceable — an E27, B22 or G9 globe will not fit. The globe is not included, and the fitting does not publish a socket wattage ceiling, so check the maximum printed on the fitting's own label before you buy a globe for it. There is no diffuser, impact rating is IK02, and the fitting is not dimmable. Rated life is under 30,000 hours.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You; the Arc Large is the E14 body rather than the small G9 one, so if you are matching an existing run of small Arcs, order the HV8025 instead and keep the globe bases consistent.
Questions
Is the Arc Large suitable for outdoors?
No. It is IP20 rated with no water protection and must be used indoors only.
Which globe does it take?
An E14 small screw base, and it is replaceable. E27, B22, G9 and GU10 globes will not fit this socket.
What is the maximum globe wattage?
The fitting does not publish one, so we will not guess at it. The globe is not included — check the maximum stated on the fitting's own label before buying a globe, and stay within it.
Does it need a driver?
No. It runs directly from 240 V mains and needs an earth as a Class 1 fitting.
Can I paint the plaster body?
Yes. It is high-density plaster made to be painted to match the wall. Keep paint out of the socket.
Is it dimmable?
No.
How does it differ from the Arc Small?
Size and lamp base. The Large is the bigger body on an E14 screw base; the Small uses a G9 capsule.
What warranty applies?
A 3-year replacement warranty.

Warranties, Return & Refund Policy

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
