Virsma LED Step Light Round Tri-Colour

Virsma is a round tri-colour step light in powder-coated aluminium, and this listing carries the whole range: 240 V or 12 V, in white or black. The light is identical either way — 110 lm at 3000K, 115 lm at 4000K and 120 lm at 5500K from 4 W — so the choice is not about brightness at all. It is about how the circuit is wired, and it has to be settled before you order.

The choice to make: 240 V or 12 V

• 240 V variants (HV3277T-WHT-240V, HV3277T-BLK-240V) wire straight to mains — no driver, no transformer. This is the simpler specification for one or two fittings, or where the wall already has a mains point.
• 12 V variants (HV3277T-WHT-12V, HV3277T-BLK-12V) require a 12 V DC LED driver and must never be connected directly to 240 V. Choose these when several fittings will share one transformer, or where a low-voltage garden circuit already exists.

Ordering the wrong voltage is the expensive mistake here, because the two are not interchangeable on site.

Where it works

• Internal stair walls where a mains point is nearby — take the 240 V version and skip the transformer entirely.
• Garden path and terrace steps already on a low-voltage run — take the 12 V version and add it to the existing driver's load.
• Covered entries and porches, where IP54 is appropriate and the round face suits arched or curved detailing.
• Apartment corridors and hotel access ways, mounted low as continuous wayfinding.

Specifying it

Rated IP54 — splash-resistant and suited to sheltered positions such as under an eave or in a recessed entry, rather than a wall taking direct driving rain. On the 12 V variants, keep each fitting within 25 m of its driver; outside that the warranty does not apply. The LED is built in on every variant — no globe is needed or possible. Not dimmable. Installation by a licensed electrician.
