Curva White LED Step Light

Curva in white is the version that reads as deliberate detailing rather than as a hidden fitting — on rendered white walls, painted brick or a pale entry it lines up with the wall colour by day and shows only as light by night. From 3 W it delivers 240 lm at 3000K, 245 lm at 4000K and 250 lm at 5500K behind frosted glass, which is real output for a step light rather than a marker glow.

The choice to make: white shows every mark

A white fitting at ankle height on a garden path collects splash marks, soil and scuffs faster than a dark one, and shows them. That is not a reason to avoid it — it is a reason to put it where it can be wiped, and to prefer the black Curva on a driveway or a dusty side path. On a clean rendered wall by a front door, white is the finish that looks intentional.

Where it works

• Rendered white or off-white walls beside a front door or entry stair.
• Pool surrounds and light-paved courtyards where the fitting should match the surface, not contrast with it.
• Terrace and balcony steps on an existing dimmable low-voltage circuit.
• Coastal beach-house paths under some shelter, where the pale finish suits the palette.

Specifying it

Rated IP65 for direct rain and hose-down washing, which also means it can simply be washed clean. It is Triac dimmable — use a trailing-edge LED dimmer and confirm the connected load clears the dimmer's minimum, or a single fitting will flicker at the low end. Tri-colour selectable at install; hold one temperature across the whole run.

Curva is 12 V DC and requires a 12 V DC LED driver, and must never be connected directly to 240 V. Every fitting must sit within 25 m of its driver for the warranty to stand. The LED is built in — no globe needed, none possible. Installation by a licensed electrician.
