Seefore LED Step Light Tri Colour Round

Seefore is a round step light in polycarbonate rather than metal — 135 mm across and 32 mm deep, in black or white. The material is the point of it. Polycarbonate does not corrode at all, which matters in the places metal fittings struggle: salt air, chlorinated pool surrounds, sprinkler overspray. It is also the reason this is a comparatively inexpensive way to light a long run of wall. At 135 mm it is the largest-diameter fitting in this group, so it reads as a deliberate disc on the wall rather than a hidden marker.

The decision that matters: this is a 12 V fitting

Both finishes are 12 V DC. Seefore requires a 12 V DC LED driver and must never be connected directly to 240 V, which destroys it and voids the warranty. Keep each fitting within 25 m of its driver — a warranty limit — and size the driver for the whole circuit's load. The fittings are wired in parallel, so a run shares one driver.

• Coastal walls and fences — polycarbonate has nothing in it to corrode.
• Pool surrounds, where chlorine attacks painted and plated finishes.
• Garden retaining walls and path edges at 120° for a broad, even wash.
• Long repeated runs where a metal fitting per position would be hard to justify.

Specifying it

Tri-colour selectable at install, and the product's own table gives 90 lm at 3000K, 95 lm at 4000K and 100 lm at 5500K from a built-in 3 W LED at a 120° spread, CRI above 80. Choose one temperature and hold it across the run. Seefore is not dimmable, so if a dimmed low-level circuit is part of the brief this is the wrong fitting. IP65 covers direct rain on an exposed wall. Backed by a 2-year replacement warranty. The LED is built in: no globe is needed and none can be fitted. Installation by a licensed electrician.
