HV3113T-WHT-240V | HV3113T-WHT-12V - White Rectangular Recessed LED Step Light

This is Havit's rectangular recessed step light in white — a 5 W built-in LED that sits flush in the wall face rather than proud of it, supplied with clips for plasterboard installation. Because it recesses, the fitting itself disappears and only the light shows, which is why it is the usual specification for an internal stair or hallway where a surface-mounted body would be an obstruction on a narrow landing. This listing sells the fitting in two voltages, and that is the choice to settle before you order.

The choice to make: 240 V or 12 V

• HV3113T-WHT-240V — wires straight to mains. No driver or transformer is required. Class I on the 240 V version, so an earth is required at the fitting. This is the simpler specification for one or two lights near an existing mains point.
• HV3113T-WHT-12V — requires a 12 V DC LED driver and must never be connected directly to 240 V. Worth it when several fittings share one driver down a flight or a corridor.

Light output is identical either way: 120 lm at 3000K, 130 lm at 4000K and 125 lm at 5500K, tri-colour selectable at install. Only the wiring differs.

• Internal stair flights and split-level landings — flush, so nothing to catch a shin on.
• Hallways and corridors in apartments and townhouses, as low-level night circulation light.
• Sheltered entry porches and undercroft walls — IP54 suits covered positions.
• Commercial fire-stair and hotel corridor walls where a repeated flush detail is specified.

Specifying it

Recessed into the wall without a canister, so confirm the cavity depth and the stud positions before setting out — a recessed fitting cannot be shifted 40 mm after the plasterboard is cut. If you specify the 12 V version, keep each fitting within 25 m of its driver; outside that limit the warranty does not apply. IP54 means splashing water, not sustained rain, so this belongs indoors or under cover. The LED is built in — there is no globe to buy and none to replace. Powder-coated aluminium in white.
