This is Havit's rectangular recessed step light in white — a 5 W built-in LED that sits flush in the wall face rather than proud of it, supplied with clips for plasterboard installation. Because it recesses, the fitting itself disappears and only the light shows, which is why it is the usual specification for an internal stair or hallway where a surface-mounted body would be an obstruction on a narrow landing. This listing sells the fitting in two voltages, and that is the choice to settle before you order.
Light output is identical either way: 120 lm at 3000K, 130 lm at 4000K and 125 lm at 5500K, tri-colour selectable at install. Only the wiring differs.
Recessed into the wall without a canister, so confirm the cavity depth and the stud positions before setting out — a recessed fitting cannot be shifted 40 mm after the plasterboard is cut. If you specify the 12 V version, keep each fitting within 25 m of its driver; outside that limit the warranty does not apply. IP54 means splashing water, not sustained rain, so this belongs indoors or under cover. The LED is built in — there is no globe to buy and none to replace. Powder-coated aluminium in white. Licensed electrician only.
Backed by a 3-year replacement warranty.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You; if you are still deciding between the 240 V and 12 V versions of HV3113T, tell us how many fittings the flight needs and we will talk it through.
For one or two fittings near an existing mains point, the 240 V version is simpler and needs no extra hardware. For a run of several down a stair or corridor, the 12 V version on one shared driver is tidier to wire.
No. It connects directly to mains. Only the 12 V version needs a 12 V DC LED driver — and that one must never be connected to 240 V, which would destroy it and void the warranty.
No. Both are 5 W built-in LED at 120 lm (3000K), 130 lm (4000K) and 125 lm (5500K). The difference is entirely in how they are powered.
Up to 25 m. Past that, Havit's warranty does not apply and voltage drop starts to show as uneven brightness across the run.
Only in a covered position. IP54 is rated for splashing, so a porch soffit or an undercroft wall is fine; an exposed garden wall needs IP65 or better.
No, they are built in. There is no globe to source, and at end of life the fitting is replaced as a unit.
