The Focus is Havit's single-head adjustable spot — one 15 W LED head on a round base, aimed by hand after it is mounted. It is the fitting you reach for when a surface needs to be lit rather than a room: a garage wall, a gable, a path edge, a driveway turn, or a display shelf indoors.
Havit rates the head at 90° of tilt and 270° of swivel. In practice that means the fitting can be mounted on a wall or on a ceiling — including the underside of eaves — and still be brought round to the target, which is what separates a spot from a bunker light bolted flat to a wall. Set the angle once the base is fixed and the circuit is live, so you are aiming at the light rather than at a diagram.
Every unit is tri-colour, chosen at installation rather than bought as a separate code: 1,200 lm at 3000K, 1,275 lm at 4000K and 1,350 lm at 5500K. Output climbs steadily with colour temperature here, so the coolest setting is also the brightest — worth knowing, because several other Havit tri-colour fittings peak in the middle and it is not safe to assume the pattern carries across ranges. Colour rendering is CRI >80.
The body is UV-resistant polycarbonate behind a semi-frosted glass lens, rated IP65 and IK06. IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction, which covers driven rain and a garden hose — it does not cover immersion or a pressure washer held close. The polycarbonate matters as much as the rating: it is the reason a black finish can sit in full Australian sun without chalking the way a painted metal body eventually will.
The fitting runs on 240 V AC wired directly to mains and needs no driver or transformer. It is Protection Class 2, so no earth connection is required at the fitting, and installation is work for a licensed electrician. There is no cutout — it fixes to a round mounting base against the surface, so ceiling cavity depth is not a consideration.
It cannot be dimmed. Havit specifies this model as non-dimmable, so it should not be put on a dimmer circuit; if you want the same head with switchable levels, the two-head sensor model in this range handles that with a remote instead.
Warranty is 3 years replacement. Lights For You keeps both finishes of the Focus in stock together, so a run of them across one elevation arrives as one batch and matches.
Havit specifies 90° of tilt and 270° of swivel. That is enough to mount the base on a wall or under an eave and still bring the beam round onto the target, which is the whole point of choosing a spot over a fixed bunker light.
Yes. It gives 1,200 lm at 3000K, 1,275 lm at 4000K and 1,350 lm at 5500K, so the coolest setting is also the brightest. All three are built into the same fitting and selected at installation.
No. Havit specifies this model as non-dimmable and it should not be wired to a dimmer circuit. The two-head sensor version of the Focus offers preset standby levels through a supplied remote instead.
For rain and hose-down cleaning, yes — IP65 is dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. It is not rated for immersion or for a pressure washer held close to the lens, and no exterior fitting should be installed within 5 km of salt water without checking the material against that environment.
No. It runs on 240 V AC wired straight to mains, and it is Protection Class 2 so no earth is required at the fitting. A licensed electrician should carry out the connection.
This one has a single 15 W head and no sensor. The larger model in the range carries two heads on the same base and adds a microwave occupancy sensor with a supplied remote — a different fitting for a different job, not a brighter version of this one.
Three years replacement, per Havit’s current data sheet for this model.
