This is the two-head Focus with a microwave occupancy sensor built into the base — the same 15 W head as the single-head model, doubled, on a fitting that switches itself. It suits the places where a light is genuinely useful only when someone is there: a side path, a carport, a back door, a set of external stairs.
Havit specifies a microwave sensor at 5.8 GHz with a detection field of 180° and a range of up to 12 m. Microwave sensing differs from the passive infrared used in cheaper fittings: it detects movement rather than body heat, so it still triggers reliably on a cold night when a person’s thermal signature is close to the background, and it can see through a thin non-metallic obstruction. The trade-off is that it is sensitive enough to be triggered by a moving branch or a passing car, so the position and the sensitivity setting both need thought.
The fitting ships with a remote that sets the lux threshold, the hold time and a standby level of 10%, 25% or 50% — so instead of switching fully off between detections, it can idle dim and lift to full output when someone approaches. A manual override is also provided for the nights you simply want it on. That standby control is not the same thing as wall dimming: the fitting is not designed to run from a dimmer circuit, and the levels are set through the remote rather than a dimmer plate.
Both heads are tri-colour and set together at installation: 2 × 1,200 lm at 3000K, 2 × 1,275 lm at 4000K and 2 × 1,350 lm at 5500K — roughly 2,400 to 2,700 lm from the fitting as a whole, at CRI >80. Each head tilts through 90° and swivels through 270°, so the pair can be split to cover two directions from one point rather than doubling up on one.
UV-resistant polycarbonate body, semi-frosted glass lens, IP65 and IK06, surface mounted to a wall or ceiling with no cutout required. It runs on 240 V AC direct to mains as a Class 2 fitting, so no earth is needed at the light and no driver is involved. Warranty is 3 years replacement.
Lights For You stocks this alongside the single-head Focus in both finishes, which is the practical way to mix sensor-switched and always-on positions on one elevation without the two fittings looking like different products.
Havit’s data sheet for this model specifies a detection field of 180° and a range of up to 12 m. Note that this is the sensor’s field of view, not the light’s beam — the beam angle is 120°.
A microwave sensor at 5.8 GHz. It detects movement rather than body heat, so it triggers reliably in cold weather where a passive infrared sensor can miss a well-insulated person. It is also sensitive to moving branches and passing traffic, so aim and sensitivity are worth setting deliberately.
Yes. The supplied remote sets a standby level of 10%, 25% or 50%, so the fitting idles dim and lifts to full output on detection. The same remote sets the lux threshold and the hold time, and a manual override is provided.
It is not intended to run from a dimmer circuit. Level control on this model is done through the supplied remote as a standby setting, which is a different mechanism from wall dimming.
Each head gives 1,200 lm at 3000K, 1,275 lm at 4000K or 1,350 lm at 5500K, and there are two heads — so between roughly 2,400 and 2,700 lm from the fitting depending on the colour setting chosen at installation.
Yes. Each head tilts through 90° and swivels through 270° independently, so one fitting can cover a path in one direction and a doorway in another.
Three years replacement, per Havit’s current data sheet for this model.
