Product Description
xA 90 mm 12 W LED downlight in the standard Australian cut-out — this is the higher-output member of the HV5530T family, for rooms where a 7 W fitting leaves the corners dim. Fixed beam, tri-colour switchable, white or black.
When to choose 12 W
Output should follow ceiling height and room use rather than habit. At 12 W this suits kitchens, open-plan living and higher ceilings, or lets you space fittings further apart for the same light level — fewer holes in the ceiling and fewer fittings to buy. For bedrooms and hallways a lower wattage from the same family is usually the better call.
Specifying it
- 90 mm cut-out — the standard aperture, so it drops into most existing downlight positions.
- Tri-colour — 3000K, 4000K or 5500K selected at install.
- Dimmable — check your dimmer is LED-compatible; an old leading-edge dimmer may buzz or flicker.
Available in white or black. 3-year replacement warranty. Install by a licensed electrician.

What size hole do I need?

Is it dimmable?
Yes. Check your dimmer is LED-compatible — an older leading-edge dimmer may buzz or flicker.

No separate driver to specify. It wires to mains.
Can I aim the beam?
No, it is a fixed downlight. The beam points straight down, which is what gives even coverage across a ceiling grid.
What colour temperature does it give?
Tri-colour switchable: 3000K, 4000K or 5500K, selected at installation.

Warranties, Return & Refund Policy
xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

- Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
