Matt White Double Adjustable Spotlight

The double adjustable Tivah gives you two independently aimed heads on one backing plate, from one wiring point. In textured white it is the version that disappears into a rendered or painted wall by day and does the work at night, which is why it is the most-specified finish in the range.

Two heads is a different tool from two fittings

Each head tilts through 90° and swivels through 270° on its own. That lets you converge both beams on one target to kill a shadow across a doorway, split them to wash a wide facade from a single cable, or send one up and one down to imitate the up/down fitting while keeping the ability to re-aim later. All of it is set at one mounting height, once, on a ladder you only put up once.

• HV1335T — 240 V GU10 with 9-in-1 switchable globes: 2 × 240–560 lm at 3000K, 2 × 255–595 lm at 4000K, 2 × 270–630 lm at 5500K, stepping through 3 W, 5 W and 7 W per head, in a 60° beam. The only Triac-dimmable version.
• HV1337GU10T — 240 V GU10 fixed at 5 W per head: 2 × 270 lm, 2 × 285 lm, 2 × 300 lm, in a 120° beam.
• HV1337MR16T — the same output and beam on 12 V DC MR16, requiring a driver.

Those figures are per head. Havit prints the 2 × and so do we, because a two-head fitting quoted at its summed total is not comparable with anything else on the page.

Specifying it

Both GU10 versions are Class 1 and wire straight to mains with an earth. The MR16 version is 12 V DC and needs a driver sized for two lamps per fitting, sited within 25 m, with the supply held inside 5% of nominal. Globe ceilings are 35 W per lamp on a 240 V GU10 and 20 W per lamp on a 12 V MR16. IP65 covers a fully exposed wall with no eave. Colour temperature is switched on the globe at install, so a single order covers warm, neutral and cool. The one restriction worth checking before you buy: the body is powder-coated aluminium and Havit excludes sites within 5 km of salt water — the solid brass, solid copper and 316 stainless versions are the coastal alternatives.
