Product Description
xThe Garot is a tall, narrow wall light in the late Art Deco manner — a mouth-blown glass cylinder on a machined metal frame, 450 mm high and only 90 mm wide. That proportion is the whole design: it draws a vertical line on the wall rather than spreading across it.
Clear or opal matt, and it changes the fitting
With clear glass the globe is fully visible, so the lamp you choose becomes part of the fitting — a decorative filament globe is what this is drawn for. With opal matt the glass is diffused and the fitting reads as a soft column of light, which is the easier choice beside a bed or at eye level in a hallway.
Narrow enough for a corridor
At 90 mm wide it takes almost no wall, which is why it suits passages, the space between two doors, or either side of a mirror. Height is where it makes its statement, so give it clear wall above and below rather than crowding it with pictures.

- Hallways and passages, where a wide fitting would not fit.
- Either side of a bed or a mirror, in pairs.
- Stairwells, mounted at intervals up the wall.
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or a joinery unit.
Specifying it
It is 450 mm high, 90 mm wide, weighing 1 kg. One E27 globe up to 25 W, not supplied. It runs on 240 V, is IP20 — indoor and dry locations only, and is Class I, so an earth is required. Dimming is globe dependent. Finishes are antique gold or black, each with clear or opal matt glass. Warranty is three years.

Questions
Should I choose clear or opal matt glass?
Clear shows the globe completely, so fit a decorative filament lamp. Opal matt diffuses it and is easier to look at beside a bed or in a hallway.
How much wall does it take?
Only 90 mm wide, but 450 mm tall — give it clear wall above and below rather than crowding it.
Is a globe included?
No. One E27 globe of up to 25 W, supplied separately.
What finishes are there?

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
