xThe Domus AIRSWAY is a 6-in-1 premium bathroom heater in white or black — 2,250 W of PTC heat, 500 m³/h extraction, a 25 W switchable LED light, and an oscillating sway head that no other unit in this catalogue has.
⚠ Our own record understated this product by about ninety times. The wattage field held 24 W — that is the light unit. The appliance draws 2,250 W on heat. It matters because it is a dedicated-circuit decision: at 2,250 W this needs its own supply and an electrician who has been told the real figure.
What the six functions actually are
- Heater — 2,250 W PTC. PTC elements self-limit their temperature, so they cannot run away the way an exposed infrared bar can.
- Exhaust fan — 500 m³/h, which is a genuinely high extraction rate.
- Circulating fan — moves warm air back down instead of letting it sit at the ceiling.
- Dry heat — heat without extraction, for drying towels and the room.
- Sway — the head oscillates, spreading warm air across the room rather than aiming a hot column at one tile.
- Light — 25 W LED, switchable 3000 K / 4000 K / 5000 K, 1,900 / 2,150 / 2,100 lm, CRI above 80.
✅ The one worth paying for is the sway. Every fixed heater warms the patch of floor directly under it; an oscillating one warms where you are actually standing, which in a bathroom is the difference between a hot shoulder and a warm room.
⚠ Before you order: the three numbers that decide whether it fits
This is a ceiling cut-in appliance, so the ceiling has to take it:
- Cutout: 595 × 280 mm. That is a large opening and it must sit between joists — measure your joist spacing before you buy.
- Fascia: 615 × 315 mm — what you see on the ceiling.
- Duct: 150 mm — and it must be ducted outside, not into the roof space. Venting a 500 m³/h extractor into a roof cavity moves the moisture problem rather than solving it.
It ships with a 3 m flexible duct, an exterior grille and an 8-switch digital wall controller.
Choosing the light colour
Set at installation, and in a bathroom it is the decision you live with:
- 4000 K — the safe answer. Close enough to daylight that makeup applied under it still reads correctly outdoors.
- 3000 K — warmer and more restful.
- 5000 K — clinical; good for shaving, cold for anything else.
⚠ Match it to your vanity light, or the mirror and the ceiling will fight each other.
IPX2 — protected against dripping water at up to 15 degrees from vertical. That is the correct and normal rating for a ceiling appliance and it means exactly what it says: it is a ceiling unit, not a shower-zone one. Follow the zone requirements in AS/NZS 3000 and let the electrician site it.
Warranty is 5 years — among the longest in this catalogue, and reasonable reassurance on an appliance with a motor in it.

- Where a fixed heater has disappointed — the sway is the reason.

Can it go above the shower?

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Hi Peter,
Good questions, and the honest answer to both is no — I've been through Domus's installation manual to be sure rather than going off our own page.
**Humidity level:** there's no humidity sensor and no setting for it. What it does instead is a programmed dry cycle — in Dry mode the heater runs for 25 minutes, then a 5-minute exhaust cycle, and it repeats that every half hour for four cycles. So it does deal with a wet bathroom, it just works to a set programme rather than reading the humidity and deciding for itself.
**Timer:** no adjustable one either. Every mode has a fixed two-hour auto shut-off — heat, exhaust and circulation all switch themselves off after two hours, and pressing any button on the controller resets it. Useful as a safety net, but you can't dial in your own run time.
The wall controller is eight switches with a temperature display and colour-coded mode lights, so it's straightforward, just not programmable.
If a humidity sensor is something you specifically want, it's worth telling me — that's usually a feature of a dedicated exhaust fan rather than an all-in-one heater unit, and none of the 6-in-1 units I'd normally recommend have one. Depending on your bathroom you might be better off with the Airsway plus a separate sensor-controlled exhaust, and I'm happy to price that up if it's useful.
