This is the anti-glare hood for the Havit Oasis 12 W garden spike light — an aluminium shroud that extends beyond the face of the fitting so the LED sits recessed and out of direct view from the side.

Why the 12 W fitting in particular wants one

Glare scales with output. The Oasis 12 W is a serious uplight built to reach into a mature canopy or up a two-storey wall, and the same brightness that makes it work at height makes it uncomfortable at eye level. A fitting like this in a garden bed beside a path, or in a front garden facing the street, is exactly where an unshielded source becomes the thing people notice instead of the tree you were lighting. The hood removes the direct view without taking anything away from what reaches the canopy.

How it fits

It slides over the fitting and locks with a screw underneath, so it can be added to an installation that is already in the ground — no lifting, no rewiring, no electrician. It is sized for the 12 W Oasis body specifically; the 7 W and 24 W fittings are different diameters and have their own hoods, so order against the wattage of the fitting you actually own. The shroud is aluminium with a black poly powder-coated finish that matches the fixture, so the pair still reads as one piece of hardware in daylight.
