xIP67 Silicone Filled Connector
This is a connector.
⚠ It is a component on its own - there is no light source, driver or wiring supplied with it.
What it does
This is a sealed connector for joining low-voltage lighting cable outdoors or in a damp position.
A cable joint is the weakest point of any exterior installation. Water does not usually get into a run through the cable itself; it gets in where two cables were joined, and it travels along inside the conductor from there. A join made with tape or a plain terminal block will pass its first test and fail some months later, at a point nobody can see.
A silicone-filled connector removes that failure mode. The gel excludes water and air from the join permanently, so the connection is as protected as the cable either side of it.
Use one at every join in an exterior run, including the ones that seem temporary. Temporary joins in garden lighting have a way of becoming permanent, and the ones made quickly are the ones that fail.
Choosing and ordering

Order it with the fitting where you can. A component like this is inexpensive next to the work it holds up, and the job that waits on one small part is a job that stays unfinished for the sake of a few dollars.
Identifying the part you need
The hard part of ordering a component is rarely the component; it is working out which one you have. Lighting ranges share a look across models that take entirely different parts, and a part that is a few millimetres out simply will not fit.
The reliable identifier is the part number on the fitting itself. It is usually printed on the body, on the driver, or on a label inside the housing, and it is worth finding before ordering rather than after. Where a fitting is already installed and the label is out of reach, a clear photograph is often enough for our team at Lights For You to identify it.
It is also worth checking what else the job needs while you are looking. Components are usually ordered one at a time and arrive one at a time, and a second small part discovered after the first has been fitted means the work stops twice instead of once.
Frequently asked questions
Why not just tape the join?
Tape does not exclude water for long. Moisture entering a join travels along inside the conductor and the failure shows up months later, somewhere buried.
Where should I use one?
At every join in an exterior or damp-position low-voltage run.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
