This is the larger Liptor: the same flat aluminium disc as the 10 W model, taken out to 275 mm across and 20 W. It is the size that works as the only light in a bedroom, a small living room, a study or a decent bathroom, where the smaller one would leave the corners short.
Tri-colour again, and again the peak is in the middle: 1,130 lm at 3000K, 1,360 lm at 4000K and 1,310 lm at 5500K. Between the warmest and the middle setting there is a real difference of about 230 lm — roughly a fifth more light — so if a room feels marginal on 3000K, moving it to 4000K gains more than the colour change alone would suggest. All three settings render at CRI >80 and the setting is chosen at installation rather than bought as a separate code.
At 20 W it produces close to three times the light of the 10 W Liptor for twice the power, because the larger body runs a bigger emitter at a more efficient point rather than simply doubling the same one. It is also 81 mm wider, which matters visually: at 275 mm this reads as the room’s light fitting, where the 194 mm version reads as a utility fitting. If both are going into one house, that difference is worth deciding deliberately rather than by wattage alone.
Powder-coated aluminium body in black or white, opal polycarbonate lens, IP54 and IK06. IP54 covers dust and splashing water from any direction, which suits a bathroom ceiling away from the shower, a covered outdoor area or an eave, but not direct spray. Being a metal-bodied fitting it is Protection Class 1 and needs an earth at the light — worth saying to the electrician, because plastic-bodied oysters of a similar look are Class 2 and do not.
Surface mounted with no cutout: a 93 × 93 mm base plate fixes to the ceiling and the fitting mounts onto it. It runs on 240 V AC without a driver, wired in parallel across a run, with a 120° beam. It is not dimmable and should not be put on a dimmer circuit.
Warranty is 3 years replacement. Lights For You holds both finishes and both Liptor sizes in stock, which is what makes it practical to specify one fitting family across a whole house.
Havit’s installation instructions for this fitting state that aluminium and 304 stainless steel fittings must not be installed within 5 km of any salt water environment. That is a condition on where the fitting may go, and it sits beside the IP rating rather than inside it: a fitting can be rated for direct rain and still fall outside this rule, because the issue is salt carried in the air rather than water landing on the surface. If your site is inside that zone, talk to us before you specify it — Lights For You can point you at a fitting whose material Havit does not name here.
4000K, at 1,360 lm. The warm 3000K setting gives 1,130 lm and 5500K gives 1,310 lm — so output peaks in the middle, not at the coolest end.
At 1,130 to 1,360 lm and 275 mm across it works as the single ceiling light in a bedroom, a study, a small living room or a family bathroom. For a hallway, a landing or a robe the 10 W Liptor is usually the better size.
Yes. It is an aluminium-bodied fitting and Havit specifies Protection Class 1, so an earth connection is required at the light. Installation is work for a licensed electrician.
No. This model is specified as non-dimmable and should not be wired to a dimmer circuit. If dimming is required, the Slim polycarbonate oysters are Triac dimmable.
No. It is surface mounted onto a 93 × 93 mm base plate fixed against the ceiling, so no hole is cut and cavity depth does not matter.
Under cover — an eave, a porch soffit, a carport ceiling. IP54 covers dust and splashing water from any direction but not driven rain or hosing, so an exposed position needs a higher rating.
Three years replacement, per Havit’s current dated data sheet for this model.
