A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
A recessed fixed downlight with a polycarbonate face on an aluminium body, taking a 90mm cutout. It draws 8W and is tri-colour, with 3000K, 4000K or 5500K selected on the fitting at installation rather than fixed at manufacture.
The polycarbonate face is the distinguishing feature. Unlike a metal-faced downlight it will not corrode, which is why this style is specified in laundries, bathrooms, garages and covered outdoor soffits where a coated metal trim eventually marks or lifts.
⚠ This page carries two electrically different fittings. HV5522T-WHT runs on 240V mains. HV5522T-WHT-24V runs on 24V and requires a low-voltage supply on the circuit.
They are not interchangeable and the difference is not visible in the fitting. Confirm which supply the ceiling is wired for before ordering — a 24V downlight delivered for a mains job cannot be installed, and the mistake is only discovered at the point the electrician goes to connect it.
The beam is 120°, which is a broad general-purpose spread rather than a directional one — appropriate for the utility spaces this fitting suits, where even light across the room matters more than accent. Colour rendering is above 80 CRI.
It is rated IP54 at the front of the fitting only, and IK08 for impact. The front-face rating is the one to read carefully: the visible face resists dust and splashing water, but the body above the ceiling is not sealed against water reaching it from the cavity side.
Havit lists the fitting as Triac dimmable, so it works with a conventional LED-rated wall dimmer.
It is a Class 2 fitting, so no earth is required at the fitting itself. The cutout is 90mm — a standard size, which makes this a straightforward replacement for an existing downlight of the same aperture. Rated lamp expectancy is >30,000 hrs and the LED is built in, so there is no globe to buy or replace. Installation is work for a licensed electrician.

Yes. Havit lists it as Triac dimmable.
No. It is a Class 2 fitting.
