Product Description
xAuster trim to suit the 380 mm slim oyster
A replacement trim ring for the Auster 380 mm slim oyster light, part number HV5865S-WHT, in white with gold. It changes how the fitting looks and nothing else.
That is worth being clear about before ordering. This is not a light. There is no LED in it, no driver, no wiring and no electrical rating of its own - it is the visible ring that sits against the ceiling around an Auster that is already installed.
What it is for
Ceiling fittings usually commit you to one appearance for their whole life. The Auster is built the other way round: the light engine stays where it is and the ring in front of it can be swapped, so the same fitting can read as plain white in a rental and as a black-and-gold detail in a renovated room.
It also solves a smaller problem neatly. If a ring is scratched during a repaint, marked by a plasterer, or simply no longer suits a redecorated room, this replaces it without an electrician and without touching the ceiling.
The finish
White outer with a gold inner keeps the ring quiet against a white ceiling while still showing warmth in the aperture. It is the choice when you want the detail without the fitting announcing itself.
Fitting it
This trim suits the 380 mm Auster, HV5865S-WHT. ⚠ Check the part number on your existing fitting before ordering - the Auster is made in three diameters and the rings are not interchangeable between them.
No electrical work is involved in changing a ring, so it is not a job that needs an electrician. If you are unsure which size you have, our team at Lights For You can identify it from a photograph of the fitting.

Is this a light?
No. It is a decorative trim ring only - there is no LED, driver or wiring in it. You need the Auster 380 mm oyster itself for it to do anything.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
