Stellato Aluminium Black Bollard Light with Spike

The Stellato is a 1000 mm garden bollard in poly powder-coated black aluminium with a sealed built-in LED behind a Perspex diffuser. It is much taller than the spike bollards it sits beside, and Havit lists it as surface mounted or spike — the only fitting in this group that can go either way.

Low voltage, and it needs a driver

It runs on 24 V DC from a suitable 24 V DC LED driver. Do not connect it directly to 240 V. Havit rates it Protection Class 3 — low voltage, no earth required — so what reaches the garden is extra-low-voltage cable, and the supply connection is made at the driver. 1000 mm of cable is supplied.

Output, and what a tall bollard at this wattage actually does

The tri-colour LED gives 3000K, 4000K and 5500K, paired by Havit with 195 lm, 205 lm and 200 lm. ⚠ 4000K is the brightest of the three. ⚠ And read the height and the output together rather than separately: this is a 7 W fitting that puts out about 200 lm, which at a metre tall is a soft marker along a driveway or a bed edge, not a path light. Shorter fittings in the same family produce three times as much from the same wattage. The beam is 120°, colour rendering is CRI >80, and lamp expectancy is >30,000hrs.

Weather and knocks: IP65 and IK08

The body is IP65 against rain and hose spray, and IK08 is a reasonable impact class — which matters more here than on a short fitting, because a metre-tall bollard is at exactly the height a reversing car mirror or a wheelbarrow handle finds. It is not dimmable.

Mounting, and what Havit does and does not publish

Havit records this one as ground — surface mounted or spike. ⚠ There is a genuine oddity worth flagging: it is the only model here that can be surface-mounted, and its data sheet is the only one in the group that does not offer a surface mounting base as an accessory.
