The Locu double is the same 790 mm bollard with two independently adjustable heads in poly powder coated black aluminium. Each head swivels through 240° and throws a 90° beam, so one fitting can light two directions at once — a path in front and a bed behind, or both sides of a driveway from a single base and a single cable run.
Havit specifies this fitting as 2 × 10 W, giving 2 × 500 lm at 3000K, 2 × 580 lm at 4000K and 2 × 540 lm at 5500K. So the fitting draws 20 W in total and delivers 1,000 lm, 1,160 lm or 1,080 lm in total depending on the colour temperature you select. This matters when you compare it against the single-head version: a per-head figure looks smaller than the single-head model's single figure, but the double is substantially the brighter fitting — about three quarters again as much light — because there are two of them. 4000K is the brightest setting on both heads; output does not rise with colour temperature.
There is one part number, HV1635T-BLK-240V, and it runs on 240 V AC only — no low-voltage version, and no LED driver anywhere in the system. It is Protection Class 1 and requires an earth; Havit's order is earth first, then live and neutral. Multiple fittings on one circuit are wired in parallel, and both heads run from the single supply into the base.
Both LEDs are built in — no lamp base, no globes, nothing to replace — and Havit rates lamp expectancy at >30,000hrs. The fitting is not dimmable. Colour quality is CRI >80 with SDCM <6, so the two heads should not read as different colours beside each other, and glare is UGR <19. Each diffuser is glass rather than a polymer, which on a joint that moves is the more durable choice — glass does not yellow under UV the way an acrylic lens can.
It is surface mounted and IP65. The base plate fixes to concrete or a concrete pad, and the fitting must not be installed below ground level. Every hole including the cable entry is siliconed, silicone is run around the fitting at ground level, and all o-rings and seals must be in place — Havit voids the warranty otherwise, and with two moving joints there are two more places for water to enter. Installation must be by a qualified electrician to AS/NZS 3000. ⚠ One siting limit applies as a condition: aluminium and 304SS fittings must not be installed within 5 km of any salt water environments, and this fitting is aluminium. Lights For You publishes these figures for HV1635T-BLK-240V from its own dated HV1635T SEP25 data sheet, the shared HV1634T/HV1635T installation instructions and Havit's page for this model, which states a 3 Years Replacement Warranty (items ordered after 01/01/22).
Brighter, and by a clear margin. Havit quotes it per head — 2 × 10 W and 2 × 580 lm at 4000K — so the fitting draws 20 W and delivers about 1,160 lm — comfortably more than the single-head model. A per-head number looks smaller than a whole-fitting one, which is exactly the trap; count the heads.
Yes — that is the reason for it. Each head swivels through 240° independently and throws a 90° beam, so you can light a path one way and a bed the other from one base and one cable run.
No. One part number, HV1635T-BLK-240V, 240 V AC only, no LED driver involved. A low-voltage installation needs a different range.
Yes — Protection Class 1. Earth first, then live and neutral, by a qualified electrician to AS/NZS 3000.
4000K, at 2 × 580 lm — about 1,160 lm in total. 3000K gives 2 × 500 lm and 5500K gives 2 × 540 lm, so output peaks in the middle rather than at the cool end.
Neither. Both LEDs are built in with no lamp base and no globe, and Havit states Dimmable: No. Lamp expectancy is >30,000hrs.
No — Havit's sheet states that aluminium and 304SS fittings must not be installed within 5 km of any salt water environments, and this fitting is aluminium. It is a warranty condition. Inside that distance, specify a 316 stainless fitting.
