This is the largest Liueg: a 590 mm spike-mounted garden bollard in poly powder-coated black aluminium with a sealed built-in LED behind a Perspex diffuser. Same height as the middle size and a wider head, and it is the one that will actually light a path rather than mark it.

Low voltage, and it needs a driver

It runs on 24 V DC from a suitable 24 V DC LED driver. Do not connect it directly to 240 V. Havit rates it Protection Class 3 — low voltage, no earth required — which is why a run of these is a reasonable garden project: only extra-low-voltage cable goes into the ground. 1000 mm of cable comes attached.

Output, and which setting is the brightest

The tri-colour LED gives 3000K, 4000K and 5500K, and Havit pairs those with 570 lm, 620 lm and 605 lm. ⚠ 4000K is the brightest of the three — output peaks in the middle of the range rather than at the cool end. The beam is 120°, colour rendering is CRI >80, and lamp expectancy is >30,000hrs. ⚠ Because a 7 W fitting at this height throws real light at eye level from a low seat, think about spacing and about where people will be looking from before you set the run out.

Weather and knocks: IP65 and IK08

The body is IP65 for rain and hose spray, and IK08 is a useful impact class for a fitting living among garden traffic. It is not dimmable, so it wants a switched circuit rather than a dimmer — worth deciding early if you are lighting an entertaining area.

Mounting, and what Havit does and does not publish

It is supplied for ground spike mounting. To fix it to a hard surface instead, this model's data sheet lists the HV151-BLK-BASE surface mounting base, which we stock and whose own description covers this fitting. ⚠ Before planning a long run, note that Havit publishes no installation sheet for this model — a data sheet only. The neighbouring 24 V spike range does have one, carrying warranty conditions on driver distance and on how connections must be sealed, and those conditions are not stated for this fitting. Ask us rather than assuming they apply. Lights For You took every figure here from Havit's own data sheet for HV1523T and from its product page for this part number, which states a 3 Years Replacement warranty.

Questions
Can it be wired straight into a household circuit?

No. It is a 24 V DC fitting and needs a suitable 24 V DC LED driver. Do not connect it directly to 240 V.

Does it need an earth?

No. Protection Class 3 — low voltage, no earth required. The supply-side work happens at the driver end.

Which colour temperature is brightest?

4000K, at 620 lm. The others are 570 lm at 3000K and 605 lm at 5500K, so the output peaks in the middle.

Is this bright enough to light a path on its own?

At 570–620 lm it is the one in this range that genuinely can, where the smaller sizes mark an edge. Space them by how much overlap you want rather than by a fixed distance.

Can I mount it on paving instead of a spike?

Yes — Havit lists the HV151-BLK-BASE surface mounting base on this model's data sheet, and we stock it separately.

How much cable does it come with?

1000 mm of cable. Plan a connection point within that distance so you are not joining cable in the ground.

Is there an installation sheet?

No — a data sheet only. The neighbouring 24 V spike range has an installation sheet with extra warranty conditions attached, and Havit does not state them for this fitting.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
