Liueg Aluminium Black Bollard Light with Spike

The Liueg is a 595 mm spike-mounted garden bollard in poly powder-coated black aluminium, with a sealed 3 W built-in LED behind a Perspex diffuser. It is the smallest of the three Liueg sizes and the one to reach for when you want a run of low, even markers rather than a few bright ones.

It is a low-voltage fitting and needs a driver

This runs on 24 V DC and must be powered from a suitable 24 V DC LED driver. Do not connect it directly to 240 V. Havit rates it Protection Class 3 — low voltage, no earth required — which is what makes a run of these practical in a garden bed: the driver does the dangerous part, indoors or in a weatherproof enclosure, and what goes into the soil is extra-low-voltage cable. Each fitting is supplied with 1000 mm of cable.

Output, and which setting is the brightest

The tri-colour LED gives 3000K, 4000K and 5500K, and Havit pairs them with 110 lm, 120 lm and 115 lm. ⚠ 4000K is the brightest of the three — the output does not climb with colour temperature, so do not choose the coolest setting expecting the most light. The beam is 120°, colour rendering is CRI >80 and lamp expectancy is >30,000hrs. This is a 3 W fitting: it is a path marker and an accent, not an area light.

Weather and knocks: IP65 and IK08

The body is IP65, so rain and hose spray are not a problem, and IK08 is a genuinely useful impact class — better than several taller bollards in this range, which matters for something at ankle height in a garden bed. It is not dimmable, so wire it to a switched circuit rather than a dimmed one.

Mounting, and what Havit does and does not publish

It is supplied for ground spike mounting. If you would rather fix it to a hard surface, Havit lists the HV151-BLK-BASE surface mounting base on this model's own data sheet, and we stock it — its own description covers this fitting. ⚠ Worth knowing before you plan the run: Havit publishes no installation sheet for this model, only a data sheet. The neighbouring 24 V spike range does have one, and it carries warranty conditions about driver distance and connection sealing that are simply not stated for this fitting — so ask rather than assume they apply, and treat the connections as you would on any buried low-voltage run.
