Lindri Bollard Light with Spike

This listing sells two genuinely different fittings, and the difference is the metal. The black Lindri is aluminium with a poly powder-coated black finish; the antique brass is solid brass with an antique finish over it. That is why one costs roughly twice the other, and it is the thing to decide first. Solid brass is a lifetime material that will patinate and keep going; powder-coated aluminium is a finish that will look excellent for years and can eventually chip. Both carry the same 3 W built-in LED at 80 lm at 3000K, 90 lm at 4000K and 85 lm at 5500K through a 120° spread.

Why a shielded head gives you less light on purpose

The Lindri's 90 x 25 mm head is a narrow horizontal slot, and it throws considerably less light than an open 3 W fitting would — the Vertex on the same platform gets 110 to 120 lm from the identical wattage. That is not inefficiency, it is the point: the slot hides the LED from anyone standing near it and puts the light on the ground instead, which is why the glare rating is UGR <19. Choose the Lindri where people will be close to the fitting and looking past it — beside a seat, along a narrow path, at a doorway.

⚠ Do not install either finish within 5 km of salt water

Havit's installation instructions for this model state plainly that aluminium and antique brass fittings should not be installed within 5 km of salt water environments. That is a restriction on the fitting, not a suggestion, and it applies to both variants on this page. If your site is coastal, this is not the range to specify and we would rather tell you now than replace it later.

⚠ 24 V DC, and two parts that must stay on the cable

• 24 V DC only, from a suitable 24 V DC LED driver, with the supply held within ±5% of the rated voltage. Much of the Havit garden range beside it is 12 V DC and cannot share a driver. Do not connect the fitting directly to 240 V.
• The male and female connector and the anti-water syphon must not be removed. Havit voids the warranty if either is taken off the cable — the syphon is what stops water travelling up the cable into the LED.
• Colour is chosen by cable at installation: active is brown, 3000K white, 5500K blue, and joining both whites and blues gives 4000K. Soldered and heat-shrunk, so it is permanent.
• IP65, IK08, 1000 mm tail, 210 mm spike, Ø25 mm post, 600 mm tall, and a 3 Years Replacement warranty on both finishes.

Lights For You will quote either finish separately if you want to mix them — brass at the entry, black through the beds is a combination that works.
