The Tenac is a 700 mm surface-mounted bollard that takes a replaceable E27 globe, in poly powder-coated black aluminium behind an opal polycarbonate diffuser. It looks like the sealed tri-colour bollards either side of it in Havit's range, and it is not one: the colour selection lives on the lamp.
It runs on 240 V AC mains. It is Protection Class 1 and requires an earth, and Havit's installation sheet opens by requiring a qualified electrician working to AS/NZS 3000. There is no transformer and no driver in this product, and it is wired in parallel.
It ships with a 9 W tri-colour E27 LED globe offering 3000K, 4000K and 5500K, and it leaves the factory set to 3000K. To change it you open the fitting and move a switch on the side of the globe itself, not a control inside the housing. ⚠ That matters when the lamp needs replacing: an ordinary E27 globe will light the fitting, but the colour selection goes with the old lamp. ⛔ And there is no headroom at all: Havit gives the socket a maximum of 9 W, exactly what the supplied globe draws, so a replacement must be 9 W or less. This is not a fitting you can brighten with a bigger lamp.
Havit's ordering table pairs the figures as 700 lm at 3000K, 740 lm at 4000K and 720 lm at 5500K. 4000K is the brightest of the three — the numbers do not rise as the light gets cooler, so do not read the list as a ladder. The spread is 180°, colour rendering is CRI >80, and lamp expectancy is >30,000hrs. All of those describe the globe supplied rather than the fitting, so anything you fit later sets its own output and its own beam. The fitting is not dimmable, which both of Havit's documents state.
The body is IP54 and IK08. ⚠ IP54 is a splash rating, not a jet rating: it is built to take rain and garden spray rather than a directed jet of water, and it should not sit in a hollow that holds water. IK08 is a genuinely useful impact class on the IK01–IK10 scale, which matters on something at shin height beside a mower.
It is surface mounted: the base plate fixes to concrete or a concrete pad, and the fitting must not be installed under ground level or buried in concrete. ⛔ Havit asks for silicone twice: all holes including the cable entry must be filled, and silicone must also be applied around the fitting at ground level — failure to do either voids the warranty. All o-rings and seals must be in place, every electrical connection must be watertight, and if your cable is not circular you must fix the cable entry to maintain the IP rating. The screws supplied are mild steel and must be replaced with a higher grade wherever water can reach them. Lights For You has taken every figure on this page for HV1693T-BLK-240V from the HV1693T data sheet (OCT24), the HV1693T-240V installation instructions (NOV24) and Havit's own page for this model, which states a 3 Years Replacement Warranty.
No. It is 240 V AC mains, Protection Class 1, and it must be earthed and installed by a qualified electrician working to AS/NZS 3000. There is no transformer or driver in this product at all.
You move a switch on the side of the globe, not a control inside the fitting. Open the outer cover, remove the internal cover, twist the globe out, set it to 3000K, 4000K or 5500K, and refit it. It arrives set to 3000K.
It will light, and you will lose the colour selection — the switch belongs to the lamp, not to the fitting. The published output and beam figures describe the supplied globe, so a replacement sets its own.
9 W. Havit gives the socket a maximum of 9 W and the globe it ships with already draws 9 W, so there is no headroom. A replacement has to be 9 W or less, and the installation sheet says plainly not to exceed the maximum wattage on the product label.
4000K, at 740 lm. The other two are 700 lm at 3000K and 720 lm at 5500K. Output does not rise with colour temperature on this globe, so the middle setting is the bright one.
Better not to. It is IP54, which is a splash rating rather than a jet rating. It is built to take rain and garden spray rather than a directed jet of water, and it should not sit anywhere that water pools.
No. Both of Havit's documents for this model record it as not dimmable, so plan a switched circuit rather than a dimmed one.
