A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
The Divad is a 600mm garden and pathway bollard from Havit Lighting, built from aluminium with a poly powder coated black finish and rated IP65 against dust and driving rain. It stands 600mm high on a Ø120mm footprint, so it throws light across a path or garden bed edge without sitting at eye height. An IK08 impact rating covers the knocks a bollard actually takes in a garden — mowers, wheelbarrows, footballs — which is the rating that tends to decide how a bollard ages rather than how it looks on day one.
Light leaves the head through a 120° beam, so a run of Divads reads as an even wash along a path rather than a line of bright points with dark gaps between them.
The Divad carries a 12W built-in LED module. It is tri-colour, which means the colour temperature is selected at installation rather than being fixed at the factory: 3000K for a warm domestic look, 4000K for a neutral white, or 5500K for a cool, high-contrast light. Output moves with the setting — 960lm at 3000K, 1020lm at 4000K and 1080lm at 5500K. Colour rendering is rated above 80 CRI. The fitting is not dimmable, so it is designed to run at full output on a switch, timer or daylight sensor.
Lamp expectancy is rated at >30,000 hrs. The LED module is built in and is not a replaceable lamp, so there is no globe to buy for this fitting, now or later.
This listing sells the Divad in two electrically different versions, and they are not interchangeable. HV1628T-BLK-240V-RND runs directly on 240V AC mains and needs no driver — an electrician wires it like any other mains garden light. HV1628T-BLK-24V-RND runs on 24V DC and does need a separate 24V DC driver, which is not included with the fitting. If you are extending an existing low-voltage garden run, check the spare capacity on the driver already installed before adding heads to it.
The 240V mains version is Class 1 and requires an earth connection. Either version should be connected by a licensed electrician, who will confirm the earthing arrangement for the supply you are running.
The Divad is designed to be fixed to a solid base — a concrete footing or a paver — rather than pushed into soft soil. Havit's own siting condition applies to this fitting: aluminium and 304 stainless fittings must not be installed within 5km of any salt water environment. That is a warranty condition, not a suggestion, and coastal installations are the most common reason an outdoor fitting is refused under warranty. If the site is near the coast, choose a fitting specified for a marine environment instead.
The fitting is covered by Havit's 3 year replacement warranty. At Lights For You we have found the 240V version is the one most people want for a new path, and the 24V version earns its place mainly where a low-voltage garden system is already in the ground.
No. The 240V AC version does not need one — it wires straight to mains. The 24V DC version needs a 24V DC driver and it is not supplied with the fitting.
The tri-colour selection is made on the fitting at installation. Changing it later means getting back to the fitting, so it is worth deciding between 3000K, 4000K and 5500K before the bollard is fixed down and backfilled.
No. The 12W LED module is built in. There is no lamp base and no globe to buy.
Not within 5km of salt water. Havit states that aluminium and 304 stainless fittings must not be installed within 5km of any salt water environment, and installing one there puts the warranty at risk.
No. The Divad is not a dimmable fitting and should be run at full output.
