A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
The Forgo single is a 1000 mm spike-mounted garden light with an adjustable head, in poly powder-coated black aluminium. Havit describes it as a single adjustable garden spike spotlight, and the head swivels through 330° — that is the point of it. Most bollards throw a fixed pattern; this one is pushed into the ground where you want it and then aimed at the planting, the path or the wall.
⚠ Stated plainly because most of this range has both. Havit's own page for HV1591T-1 links no data sheet and no installation sheet, so everything below comes from that product page and nothing else. ⛔ The mounting and sealing conditions that the surface-mounted bollards in this range carry are not stated for this model, and we have not assumed they apply to a spike-mounted fitting.
It runs on 24 V DC only, and Havit's instruction is that it must be used with a suitable 24 V DC LED driver. ⛔ Do not connect it directly to 240 V. That is the single most important line on this page: a spike light on a garden run often sits alongside fittings that are wired straight to the house circuit, and this one must not be. Size the driver for the whole run, not for one head.
The engine is a sealed 3 W built-in LED — no lamp holder, no globe, nothing to replace. Havit pairs the figures as 265 lm at 3000K, 275 lm at 4000K and 270 lm at 5500K, so 4000K is the brightest of the three and output does not climb with colour temperature. At that output it is an accent light: it will pick out a tree trunk, a wall texture or a shrub, and it is not trying to light an area.
The 330° swivel means the head can be turned almost the whole way round on the post, so the spike can go where the cable is and the light can still point where you want it. At 1000 mm the head sits well above ground planting, which is what separates this from a short spike spot buried in a garden bed. ⚠ A spike fitting is meant to be moved: plan enough cable slack to re-site it a season later.
Sealing is IP65, the one environmental figure Havit publishes for this model. ⚠ There is no impact rating, no beam angle, no protection class and no lamp-life figure here, and that is deliberate — no Havit document states them for HV1591T-1 and we would rather leave a gap you can ask about than print a figure we cannot source. Every number on this page was taken by Lights For You from Havit's own product page for this part number, which states a 3 Years Replacement Warranty, together with the store's own variant record for the part number and barcode.
No. Havit publishes no data sheet and no installation sheet for HV1591T-1 — its own page links neither. That is why several specifications the surface-mounted bollards in this range publish are absent here.
It needs one. This is a 24 V DC fitting and Havit requires a suitable 24 V DC LED driver. Do not connect it directly to 240 V — that will destroy it and is not covered by the warranty.
It swivels through 330°, so the head can be turned almost the whole way round on the post. Put the spike where the cable reaches and aim the light afterwards.
No. The 3 W engine is a built-in LED sealed into the head — no lamp holder, no socket and no replacement lamp, so there is no maximum globe wattage to work to.
4000K, at 275 lm. The other two are 265 lm at 3000K and 270 lm at 5500K, so output does not rise with colour temperature.
It is an accent light rather than an area light. At this output it picks out a trunk, a wall texture or a specimen shrub. For a wider spread across a bed, the double-head version of the Forgo puts two of these engines on one post.
Because Havit does not state them for this model anywhere. We publish the IP65 rating it does give and leave the rest open rather than borrowing figures from another fitting in the range.
