At 1 W this is the quietest fitting in the range, and it is the one most gardens actually need more of. Output is 40 lm at 3000K, 45 lm at 4000K and 42 lm at 5500K — genuinely small, and deliberately so. A 1 W marker is not there to light a path; it is there to describe one. Placed every metre or so along a bed edge it draws a line you can follow without any single fitting becoming the thing you look at, which is the effect that makes a garden feel considered rather than floodlit.

Two Perspex lenses in the box

The Drique is supplied with a short and a long Perspex lens, and swapping them changes the character of the fitting rather than its brightness. That is unusual at this price and it is the reason to choose the Drique over a fixed marker: you can install the run, look at it after dark, and change the spread without buying anything. The body is a slim Ø16 mm tube in aluminium with a poly powder-coated black finish, on a 210 mm spike, with the fitting standing 600 mm overall.

⚠ One number to check before you buy: UGR under 29

Havit rates the Drique's glare at UGR <29, where the Vertex, Madna and Lindri fittings on this same platform are rated <19. Lower is better, so this is the more glaring fitting of the group despite being the dimmest — the Perspex lens is doing less to hide the source than a polycarbonate diffuser does. In practice that means keeping it off the direct sightline from a seating area or a doorway. Aimed along a bed rather than across one, at 1 W, it is not a problem.

⚠ 24 V DC, and the colour is set by cable

The Drique needs 24 V DC from a suitable 24 V DC LED driver; a great deal of the Havit garden range beside it is 12 V DC and the two cannot share a supply. Do not connect it directly to 240 V. Tri-colour is selected at installation by connecting the labelled 3000K or 5500K neutral, or joining both for 4000K, after which the joint is soldered and sealed. Havit also requires the fitting to sit within 25 m of its driver with the supply inside ±5%, and voids the warranty outside that allowance — which on a long low-voltage run of small fittings is the constraint that bites first. The built-in LED is sealed and not replaceable, so there is no globe to buy and none to fail; it is not dimmable, and it is covered by a 3 Years Replacement warranty.
