Drique Aluminium Black Bollard Light with Spike

The Drique CCT is a 1 W garden marker on a 210 mm spike — a slim Ø16 mm aluminium tube, poly powder-coated black, standing 600 mm overall. This listing is the single fitting. Havit's own description of this part number is “to be added to 5 light kit”, and that is the honest way to read it.

⚠ What is not in the box

It runs on 24 V DC, and Havit states it must be used with a suitable 24 V DC LED driver. No driver is supplied with this part number — and neither is the WiFi receiver nor the IR remote. Those three parts come with the five-light kit, HV1514CCT-BLK-KIT. Bought on its own, this fitting is either an addition to a kit you already have or a fitting you are pairing with your own 24 V DC supply. Never connect it directly to 240 V. It is also 24 V, not 12 V: a good deal of the Havit garden range beside it is 12 V DC and the two cannot share a driver.

The colour temperature is adjustable — at the controller, not at the fitting

The LED is CCT, adjustable across 3000K to 5500K rather than fixed at one colour, and Havit rates it dimmable with the app or the remote. Both of those act through the WiFi receiver and IR remote that ship with the kit. There is no switch on the fitting itself, so on a single unit that adjustability only exists once it is connected to that controller. If you are running these from a plain 24 V DC driver with nothing else on the circuit, treat the light as fixed output.

Two Perspex lenses, and what they change

The Drique is supplied with a short and a long Perspex lens. Swapping them changes the character of the fitting rather than its brightness — useful, because you can install the run, look at it after dark and change the spread without buying anything. The tail is a 2000 mm cable, and multiple fittings are wired in parallel.

How small 1 W actually is

Output is 40–45 lm from a 1 W built-in LED that is sealed and not replaceable — no globe to buy and none to fail. That is a marker, not a path light: it shows where the edge of a bed is rather than lighting the ground you walk on. The usual answer is more of them at a closer pitch, not a brighter fitting. Beam angle is 120°, colour rendering CRI >80, colour consistency SDCM <6, glare UGR <29, and lamp expectancy >30,000hrs*.

Build, and where it can go

The body is IP65 and IK08 in aluminium, installed ground — spike. The fitting is Protection Class 3, low voltage, no earth required; the driver is a separate part with a rating of its own, which is why none is quoted here.
