A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
At 1050mm the Divad is the tall member of Havit Lighting's Divad bollard range, on the same Ø120mm aluminium body with a poly powder coated black finish. Height is the whole point of this version: mounted higher, the 120° beam covers a wider footprint, so a driveway or a broad path needs fewer bollards to light it evenly than the shorter models would. The trade is that the light source sits closer to eye level, so it belongs along a driveway edge or a boundary rather than beside a seat or a window.
Construction is rated IP65 against dust and driving rain and IK08 against impact, which is the specification that matters where cars, bins and mowers pass close by.
The Divad 1050mm carries the same 12W built-in LED module as the rest of the range. It is tri-colour, so the installer selects 3000K, 4000K or 5500K on the fitting rather than the temperature being fixed in the factory, and output follows that choice at 960lm, 1020lm or 1080lm. Colour rendering sits above 80 CRI. This is not a dimmable fitting, so plan it as a switched, timed or sensor-driven circuit.
Rated lamp expectancy is >30,000 hrs. Nothing in the head is a serviceable lamp — the LED is integral and there is no globe to source for it.
The page lists two versions that are not electrically interchangeable. HV1633T-BLK-240V-RND takes 240V AC directly and needs no driver; it is Class 1 and requires an earth. HV1633T-BLK-24V-RND takes 24V DC, requires a separate 24V DC driver that does not come with the fitting, and is Class 3, meaning no earth is required at the fitting itself.
For a driveway lit from scratch the 240V version is usually the simpler run. The 24V version makes sense where a low-voltage garden system is already installed — in which case confirm the existing driver has capacity left before adding this head to it. Both versions are for installation by a licensed electrician.
A 1050mm bollard has more leverage on its base than a short one, so fixing it to a concrete footing or a solid paver rather than into soft ground matters more here than on the smaller models. Havit's siting condition applies: aluminium and 304 stainless fittings must not be installed within 5km of any salt water environment. That is a warranty term, and coastal siting is the usual reason a claim on an outdoor fitting is declined. For a site near the sea, choose a fitting specified for marine conditions.
The fitting carries Havit's 3 year replacement warranty. Our team at Lights For You generally points people toward this height for driveways and the shorter Divads for garden paths, since spacing rather than brightness is what decides how a bollard run looks.
1050mm, on a Ø120mm body. The same range includes a 650mm version if that suits a path better.
Only the 24V DC version needs one, and it is not included. The 240V AC version connects to mains without a driver.
No. The 24V version is Class 3, so no earth is required at the fitting. The 240V version is Class 1 and does require an earth.
No. The Divad runs at full output and is not designed to be dimmed.
No closer than 5km. Havit specifies that aluminium and 304 stainless fittings must not be installed within 5km of a salt water environment.
