The Cadrado is a 600 mm surface-mounted bollard with a sealed built-in LED, in poly powder-coated black aluminium behind a glass diffuser. There is no lamp holder and no globe to buy: the 10 W tri-colour engine is part of the fitting, and the only thing you choose after installation is the colour temperature.
It runs on 240 V AC mains. It is Protection Class 1 and requires an earth, and Havit's installation sheet opens by requiring a qualified electrician working to AS/NZS 3000. There is no transformer and no driver in this product, and where several run from one circuit they are wired in parallel.
It leaves the factory set to 3000K. To change it you remove the cover from a sliding switch on the underside of the head, choose 3000K, 4000K or 5500K, and refit the cover carefully so water cannot get in. That is a one-time decision made with the fitting in your hands, not a setting you can reach later without opening it again.
Havit pairs the figures as 700 lm at 3000K, 750 lm at 4000K and 725 lm at 5500K. 4000K is the brightest of the three — the numbers do not rise as the light gets cooler, so do not read the list as a ladder. The spread is 120°, colour rendering is CRI >80, and lamp expectancy is >30,000hrs.
Both of Havit's documents record it as Triac dimmable, and its own data sheet names the HV9625 Triac Dimmer as the compatible accessory. That is unusual here — most bollards in this range are switched only — so it is worth designing the circuit around before the trenching goes in.
The body is IP65 and IK08, a genuinely useful impact class on the IK01–IK10 scale, which matters on something at shin height beside a mower. ⛔ Havit states that aluminium and 304SS fittings must not be installed within 5 km of any salt water environments. This bollard is aluminium, so that applies to it directly and it is a warranty condition, not a suggestion.
It is surface mounted: the base plate fixes to concrete or a concrete pad, and the fitting must not be installed under ground level. ⛔ Havit asks for silicone twice — all holes including the cable entry must be filled, and silicone must also be applied around the fitting at ground level — and failure to do either voids the warranty. All o-rings and seals must be in place, and if your cable is not circular you must fix the cable entry to maintain the IP rating. Lights For You has taken every figure on this page for HV1636T-BLK-240V from the HV1636T-BLK data sheet, the HV1636T installation instructions and Havit's own page for this model, which states a 3 Years Replacement Warranty.
No. It is 240 V AC mains, Protection Class 1, and it must be earthed and installed by a qualified electrician working to AS/NZS 3000. There is no transformer or driver in this product at all.
No. The 10 W tri-colour engine is a built-in LED — there is no lamp holder, no socket and nothing to unscrew, so there is no replacement lamp to buy and no maximum globe wattage to work to.
Take the cover off the sliding switch on the underside of the head, select 3000K, 4000K or 5500K, and refit the cover so it seats properly against water. It arrives set to 3000K.
4000K, at 750 lm. The other two are 700 lm at 3000K and 725 lm at 5500K. Output does not rise with colour temperature here, so the middle setting is the bright one.
Yes — it is Triac dimmable on both of Havit's documents for this model, and the data sheet names the HV9625 Triac Dimmer as the compatible accessory. Specify the dimmer with the circuit rather than after it.
No. Havit states that aluminium and 304SS fittings must not be installed within 5 km of any salt water environments, and this bollard is aluminium. That is a warranty condition, so a coastal site needs a fitting rated for it instead.
No. The head is fixed and the beam is a 120° wash. If you need to point the light somewhere specific, that is a different model in the range — this one is not adjustable.
