Velden Wall Bracket Copper - VELDEN WB-CP

The Velden WB is a 250 mm wall bracket in polished copper with a glass shade — the wall light of the Velden pendant family.

It completes the range

This is the point of it. Velden runs as single, four and six-light pendants and this wall bracket, all in the same polished copper with ø90 mm glass shades. A pendant over the table with a pair of these down the hallway is one scheme, not two things that nearly match — and the shade is identical, not merely similar.

Copper, which is the warmest metal here

Polished copper is pinker and warmer than brass, and it does not read as gold. Against white walls or pale timber it does more work than any other finish in this range.

It projects 170 mm

Worth checking: 125 mm wide and 250 mm tall, standing 170 mm out from a ø125 mm backplate. That reach throws light outward across a corridor rather than straight down the wall — good for a hallway, but check it against a narrow passage where a shoulder might find it.

E14, not E27

Note the base — E14 small Edison screw, to 25 W, not supplied. The same base as every Velden pendant, so one globe order covers a whole scheme. Buy them all together: across a run of glass shades a colour-temperature mismatch is obvious.

A ø90 mm glass shade

Small and clear-toned, so the globe is partly visible — a warm filament globe is worth fitting here rather than a plain one.

125 mm wide, 250 mm high, 170 mm projection, backplate ø125 mm, shade ø90 mm, in iron and glass, polished copper. One E14 globe to 25 W, not supplied. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
