Tolard Gypsum Indoor Wall Light

The Tolard is a rectangular gypsum wall light — 160 mm high, 100 mm wide, projecting only 60 mm — in a sand finish.

Gypsum takes paint, and that is the whole idea

Gypsum is plaster. Paint it in your wall colour and the fitting disappears into the surface, reading as a shaped aperture of light rather than an object mounted on the wall. No metal or glass fitting can do that, and it is why plaster wall lights are an architect's choice.

Rectangular, not shaped

Where the Ovita is a small curved gypsum fitting, the Tolard is a clean rectangle — strictly geometric, with no ornament at all. In a minimalist interior that is the more disciplined choice.

A sand finish, even before paint

The raw finish is sand-textured rather than smooth, so it already reads as a wall surface rather than a manufactured object. Left white, it is quiet; painted, it vanishes.

60 mm off the wall

Very shallow. In a corridor or beside a bed it will not catch a shoulder, which is exactly where bulkier wall lights become a nuisance.

One G9 globe, not supplied

9 W maximum. G9 is a small bi-pin capsule, not interchangeable with any screw base. Buying several for a corridor? Take the globes from one batch.

160 mm high, 100 mm wide, 60 mm projection, in gypsum with a sand finish. One G9 globe to 9 W, not supplied. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
