Product Description
xThe Raxa is a 400 × 310 mm wall light made of acoustic felt — it absorbs sound as well as emitting light — with a reversible two-tone plate, in four colour pairs.
⚠ Confirm the electrical class with us before your electrician arrives. Our datasheet says Class III — low voltage, under 54 V, which means a driver is required. The product page says Class I — earth required, which means direct mains and no driver. Those are different installations, and getting it wrong wastes a visit. Ask us and we will confirm with Telbix.
It absorbs sound — and nothing else here does
This is the reason the Raxa exists. The body is acoustic felt, the material used in office baffles and studio panels, and it damps reflected sound in the room it hangs in. On a hard wall — plaster, concrete, glass — a pair of these does a small but real amount of work on echo and speech clarity. It is a light that is also a wall treatment, and nothing else in this catalogue offers it.
The felt plate reverses — two colours in one product
Each Raxa has a different tone on each face, and the plate flips. So you are buying two looks:
- Dijon Orange on Grey
- Sage Green on Black
- Mocha Brown on Black
- Ash Black on Grey
Repaint the room in three years and you turn the plate over rather than replacing the fitting.
42 lumens. This is a mood light, not a lamp. Five watts producing 42 lm is a very low output — roughly a tenth of a small wall light. The Raxa is bought for the felt, the colour and the acoustic effect, with a warm glow behind them. Plan your actual lighting separately.
CRI above 90, which matters here more than usual
On a fitting whose subject is coloured felt, colour rendering is not academic — a CRI 80 source would flatten the sage green and mute the dijon orange. At >90 the felt reads as the colour you chose.
A COB LED, warm and fixed
Chip-on-board rather than a dot array, so the small amount of light it gives is even and clean rather than pixelated across the acrylic. 3000 K, fixed, not dimmable.
Where it works
- Hard-surfaced rooms — plaster, concrete, glass — where echo is a problem.
- Home offices and studios.
- Hallways and bedrooms, as colour and texture.
- ⚠ Alongside proper lighting, never instead of it.
Specifying it
400 mm wide, 310 mm high, 0.8 kg, in acoustic felt, aluminium and acrylic. Integrated 5 W COB LED giving 42 lm at 3000 K, included, CRI >90. Not dimmable. 240 V, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.

xWarranties, Return & Refund Policy
xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
