Product Description
xThe Peg is a compact 310 mm wall light in white with an opal matt glass shade and polished brass or chrome screws.
Treat this as an indoor, dry-location fitting. Our sources give both IP20 and IP44 for it, and we publish the lower. An earlier version of this page also said IP44 protects against dust — it does not; the 4 refers to solid objects over 1 mm. Ask us if you need it confirmed for a bathroom.
The screws are the detail
On a fitting this plain, the polished brass or chrome screws are the only ornament — deliberately exposed rather than hidden. It is a small, honest piece of design that keeps a white cylinder from being anonymous.
Opal matt, so it glows evenly
A ø120 mm opal shade diffuses fully — no visible globe, no glare at head height. That makes it comfortable in a corridor or beside a bed, where you pass close to it.
Small enough for a tight wall
ø120 mm and 310 mm high. It suits a narrow pier, a stairwell or a run down a corridor where a wider fitting would crowd.
40 W maximum — the lower of two figures
Our sources say 40 W and 60 W. We publish 40 W, because a globe within the lower limit is safe either way. E27, not supplied; behind opal glass a plain warm globe is all you need.

Can it go in a bathroom?
We publish it as IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Our sources give both IP20 and IP44, and we would rather understate it. Ask us if you need it confirmed for a bathroom.
Does IP44 protect against dust?
No, and an earlier version of this page said it did. The 4 in IP44 refers to solid objects over 1 mm — dust protection starts at IP5x.
What wattage globe can I use?
Up to 40 W. Our sources say 40 W and 60 W, and we publish the lower — a globe within it is safe either way.
Which globe should I fit?
A plain warm one. Opal matt glass hides the globe entirely, so a decorative filament would be wasted.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
