The Monte WB3 is a 390 mm three-light wall fitting in brass with frosted glass leaf forms — three E14 globes to 25 W each, not supplied.

The Monte's shape is drawn from natural leaf formations — three frosted glass elements set on a refined brass frame, each with a globe behind it. Frosted rather than clear matters here: it means each leaf glows as a whole surface rather than showing a bright point through it, so what you see from across the room is three lit shapes, not three globes.

Three E14 globes — 25 W each, 75 W in total

Our specification table stated this correctly as 3 × 25 W, which is worth saying because several fittings in this range state the total as though it were the per-globe figure. E14 is the small screw base — a candle or golf-ball globe — and none are supplied.

Dimming depends on the globe, not on the fitting. Our record says “No”; the datasheet says globe dependent, and the datasheet is right — there is nothing in a fitting that simply holds three E14 globes to prevent dimming. Fit dimmable E14 LEDs and use a wall dimmer and it will dim. Fit ordinary ones and it will not. Ask us and we will match globes to your dimmer — three globes on one dimmer is exactly where mismatched LEDs flicker.

390 by 420 mm, projecting 170 mm

This is a substantial wall fitting — almost as tall as it is wide, at 2 kg on a 110 mm canopy. The 170 mm projection means it reads as a sculptural object on the wall rather than a flat panel, and equally that it is not a hallway fitting: 170 mm into a circulation route is an obstruction. Give it a wall you look at, and use a proper fixing rather than a plasterboard plug.

Part of a range that scales a very long way

The Monte also comes as an 8, 12 and 16-light pendant. So the same leaf-and-brass language runs from this three-light wall fitting to a sixteen-light chandelier — which makes it genuinely useful for tying a hallway, a stair and a dining room together without repeating the same fitting.

It is Class I — earth required and hard-wired, and IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. A licensed electrician installs it.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
