The Malone is a ø125 mm wall light with a white fabric shade on antique gold, black or nickel metalware.

We are not publishing a projection. The datasheet says 90 mm, the old page said 132 mm, and the sheet’s dimension block is visibly scrambled — one of its cells contains a voltage where a shade height should be. If clearance from the wall matters — a corridor, a stairwell, beside a door — ask us and we will measure one.

Fabric on a wall light, which is uncommon

Almost every wall light in this range is glass or metal. The Malone is fabric, and that changes it completely: the shade glows through its sides rather than directing a beam, so the fitting reads as soft at head height. In a bedroom or a hallway where you pass close to it, that is a real comfort advantage over glass.

Small, and meant for a run

ø125 mm — genuinely compact, with a ø150 mm shade. This is a fitting to use in pairs and rows: either side of a bed, down a corridor, up a stair. One on its own underplays it.

Three metalwares, one shade

The white shade is constant; the metal changes. Antique gold is warm and traditional, nickel cool and contemporary, black graphic. Because the shade dominates when lit, the choice shows most by day.

One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied

Behind fabric a plain warm globe is all you need — a decorative filament would not be seen. Dimming is globe dependent.

Where it works
  • Either side of a bed, at reading height.
  • Corridors and stairwells, in a run.
  • Beside a mirror or a doorway.
  • Anywhere glare at head height would be a nuisance.
Specifying it

ø125 mm, shade ø150 mm, in iron and fabric. One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

Your Options

  • Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
  • Credit: will be issued in the form of store credit and will be equal to the price paid.
