The Kinso WB35 is a 350 mm pleated wall light with a central opal globe — one G9 globe to 6 W, not supplied — in antique copper, antique gold or antique silver.
The form is the product. A sculptural pleated surface radiates outward from a central illuminated globe, so the light does two things at once: it glows at the middle and it rakes across the pleats, which throws alternating bright and shadowed rays out to the rim. On a plain wall that produces a sunburst rather than a lit disc — and it only works because the pleats catch light at an angle.
The finish is doing half the work. All three colourways are antique and textured, not polished — copper, gold or silver. A textured metal surface varies how each pleat catches the light, so the rays read as uneven and hand-made rather than machined. A polished version of the same shape would look like a mirror; these do not.
⚠ It does not change colour. Our record carries a colour-changing flag against it. It takes one ordinary G9 globe and includes none — there is nothing in the fitting capable of it.
A 350 mm disc standing 150 mm off the wall on a 120 mm backplate, at 0.95 kg. That projection is what lets the pleats catch light from the side — but it also means the Kinso is not a hallway fitting: 150 mm into a circulation space is an obstruction. It belongs on a wall you look at, not one you walk past.
One G9 to 6 W, not supplied, behind a 120 mm opal shade — so the source itself is hidden and even, and only the pleats around it show structure. That means any G9 will do: the globe you choose affects brightness and warmth, not the look. Dimming is globe dependent — a dimmable G9 with a wall dimmer will dim it, and on a sunburst fitting dimming is worth having, because at low output the rays are all you see.
It is Class I — earth required and hard-wired. A licensed electrician installs it — genuinely, on this page.
The Kinso also comes at 500 mm, at 1.7 kg and the same 150 mm projection. Both take the same 6 W G9 behind the same 120 mm shade — so the light is identical and only the disc grows. Choose by the wall, not by output.
350 mm wide, projection 150 mm, shade 120 mm, backplate 120 mm with a 25 mm projection, 0.95 kg, in textured iron and opal glass. One G9 globe to 6 W, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.

Not comfortably — it projects 150 mm, which is an obstruction in a circulation space. It belongs on a wall you look at, not one you walk past.
