Joshua Large LED Wall Light

The Joshua WB40 is a 420 mm two-light wall light in black or gold — 6 W total giving 280 lm at 3000 K, in iron and acrylic.

Two sources on a curved form

The Joshua is built around curved lines — the sentence our page was cut off before finishing. The two LEDs sit at opposite ends of a 420 mm curve, so the fitting throws light in two directions along the wall and the curve itself catches the light between them. A single source on the same shape would leave half of it dark; two make the form read as a whole.

280 lumens — ambient, and deliberately so

6 W across two sources. This is a shape you look at rather than a light you work by: it will mark a hallway, flank a bed or wash a section of wall, and it will not light a room. CRI above 80 and 3000 K fixed, with no dimming — so it is an on-or-off fitting, which is worth knowing beside a bed.

Acrylic over iron

The iron gives the curve its structure; the acrylic diffuses each LED so you see a lit edge rather than a bright point. That is what keeps a two-source fitting from producing two hot spots at eye level.

Black or gold — and the gold is the point of the range

Black reads as a drawn curve against a pale wall — graphic and quiet. Gold is the reason the range exists: on a curved surface, a metallic finish gradates as it turns, so the fitting shows a continuous highlight running around the form rather than a flat colour. It is the finish that makes the shape visible in daylight, when the light is off.

One of a pair

Joshua runs as this two-light wall light and an eight-light pendant, in the same two finishes at the same 3000 K. A room with the pendant over a table and a pair of these on the wall reads as one scheme.
