Product Description
xThe Gaston WB is a 120 mm wall light with an interchangeable glass shade — one G9 globe to 6 W, not supplied — in black or antique gold with a choice of six glass finishes.
⚠ Ask us before you specify this for a bathroom. Our datasheet says IP44 — splash-rated, which would make it usable on a bathroom wall outside the shower zone. Our record says IP20, which rules that out completely. The difference is a capability, not a detail, and we cannot settle it from what we hold: the page is generated from the record, so those two are one source, not two. Ask us and we will confirm with Telbix before you plan a bathroom around it. For a dry room, either rating is fine.
Six glass shades, and they swap
The same interchangeable system as the Felton and Elson ranges — the fitting is not fixed at purchase:
- Opal Matt — fully diffusing; the only one that hides the globe completely. Softest light, no glare from any angle.
- Frost Tear — frosted teardrop; diffuse, brighter than opal.
- Smoke and Smoke Tear — grey-tinted; darker, and against antique gold the contrast is strong.
- Amber Tear — warm-tinted; the warmest of the six.
- Clear Prism — faceted; sparkles and throws patterns, and shows the globe.
Twelve variants in total — two frames × six glasses.
Small, and it projects further than it is wide
120 mm wide by 120 mm high, on an 80 mm canopy — but it projects 128 mm, so it reaches out from the wall further than its own face. That puts the glass clear of the surface, which is what lets a faceted or tinted shade catch light on all sides. In a narrow hallway, plan for the 128 mm.
The globe is not supplied, and on some shades it shows
One G9 to 6 W, your choice. If you pick Clear Prism or a tinted teardrop, buy a decorative globe — those shades reveal it. Opal Matt hides it entirely, so any globe will do. Dimming is globe dependent: a dimmable G9 with a wall dimmer will dim it; a plain globe will not. Our record says “No”, which is misleading.
It is Class I — earth required and hard-wired, at 0.55 kg. A licensed electrician installs it — genuinely, on this page.

Questions
Can I use it in a bathroom?

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
