The Felton WB1 is a 120 mm single wall light in black with a choice of six interchangeable glasses — one G9 globe to 6 W, not supplied.

Interchangeable shades — which matters most on a wall light

You can change the glass later without replacing the fitting. On a pendant that is a nice option. On a wall light it is genuinely useful, because wall lights are the fittings most often kept through a redecoration: the metal stays wired to the wall and the glass changes.

What each glass does at close range

A single wall light sits near you, often at eye level beside a bed or a mirror, so glass behaviour matters more than it does at ceiling height:

• Opal Matt — the only one with no glare at all. The correct choice beside a bed or anywhere at eye level.
• Amber Tear — warms the light itself; the softest register of the six, and very good beside a bed if you accept a visible source.
• Frost Tear — soft; the globe reads as a warm centre rather than a point.
• Smoke and Smoke Tear — tinted, cut the output, and keep the fitting dark when off.
• Clear Prism — maximum sparkle, fully visible globe. Striking on a feature wall; uncomfortable at eye level.

One globe, 6 watts — an accent

120 mm wide by 185 mm high, taking one G9 to 6 W, not supplied. This is a marker and a small wall wash — it gives a wall a point of interest. It is not a reading light.

Its two-light sibling, at the same 120 mm width, gives twice the output from a taller body — worth knowing if you want the same look with more light.

One glass across three ranges

The same six glasses fit the Felton pendants and table lamps, the Tyson pendant bars and the Gaston pendant bars. A wall light here, a bar over the dining table and a pendant in the hall can all be specified in one glass. Ask us and we will check availability across the three ranges together.

• In pairs, flanking beds, mirrors and fireplaces.
• Hallways and alcoves — 120 mm is compact.
• Matched to Felton, Tyson or Gaston fittings in the same glass.
• ⚠ Opal Matt at eye level — Clear Prism will glare.
• ⚠ A 6 W accent, not a reading light. The two-light gives twice as much.

Six interchangeable glasses. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
