The Domus BF-7577 is a 450 mm raw ceramic wall light — the widest in this group — taking one E27 lamp and supplied unpainted.
At 450 mm this is the widest single-lamp ceramic in the range, and that is the thing to weigh before buying it.
We hold the width (450 mm) and the projection (150 mm) and no height. We will not guess it. ⚠ The 150 mm projection is the deepest in this batch — combined with 450 mm of width, this is a substantial object on a wall, so measure the space properly. Ask us and we will measure a fitting.
Raw ceramic wall light, made in Italy. 450 mm wide × 150 mm projection — ⛔ height not recorded, ask us and we will measure one. Requires 1 × E27 — not included. ⛔ Maximum wattage: the datasheet says 60 W and our record says 20 W (⭐ the same conflict appears on 11 of the 12 E27 ceramics here). Supplied unpainted, finishable with any water-based paint. 220–240 V AC, hard-wired, indoor dry areas. 50,000 hrs fitting life. ⚠ Warranty 1 year.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
It will light it evenly rather than brightly, and on a wall this wide that is the better result — a bright patch on a broad surface looks worse than a soft band across it. Treat it as ambient light, not task light. Because the output has to spread further than on a small fitting, spend on a 10W E27 LED rather than an 8W one; the difference is more visible here than it would be on a 200mm fitting.
The datasheet says 60W and our record says 20W. We checked whether it was isolated: 11 of the 12 E27 raw ceramics in this range carry the same conflict, and the twelfth — the BF-2440 — has a sheet genuinely reading "20W CFL", which looks like where the 20W came from. We work to the datasheet's 60W. In practice an 8–10W E27 LED sits under both, so it only matters for a circuit-load calculation — ask us if that is what you are doing.
The projection is 150mm, the deepest in this group, and the height is not recorded — we will not publish a guess for a dimension that decides clearance under a rail or a cornice. Combined with 450mm of width this is a substantial object on a wall, so measure the space carefully. Ask us and we will measure a physical fitting for you.
Wall width decides it. On a broad living-room or hallway wall, 450mm reads as deliberate and a small fitting reads as an afterthought. On a narrow pier this will overrun and look crowded — the BF-7310 at 230mm or one of the compact G9 fittings is the better call there.
The base will, the body might not. E27 LEDs vary considerably in length and girth and the ceramic cavity is fixed, so a long candle or a large decorative globe can foul it. A compact globe shape is the safe choice — or send us the lamp you are considering and we will check it against the fitting.
No — the raw ceramic is a deliberate look and many are left as they arrive. It is porous until painted or sealed, so it marks. At 450mm it is also a large surface to keep clean, which is worth thinking about if it sits at hand height.
No. Raw ceramic is porous until painted and the fitting is rated for indoor dry use only. For a bathroom, ask us for something with an IP rating suited to the zone.
