The Domus LF-ST64 is a 7.5 W LED filament globe in the classic ST64 pear shape — clear glass, 750–800 lumens, dimmable, in E27 or B22 and 2700 K or 6500 K.
⚠ It lasts 15,000 hours, not 50,000. That is the shortest life in this catalogue by a wide margin — most Domus LED fittings claim 35,000 to 50,000.
It is normal for a filament LED and not a fault: the filaments sit in a glass envelope with nowhere for heat to go, and heat is what ends an LED's life. But if you are replacing halogen expecting a decade of LED longevity, this is the one product here where that expectation needs adjusting — at three hours a day, 15,000 hours is about thirteen years; in a hospitality fitting running twelve hours a day it is about three.
You buy this for how it looks, not for what it does to a room:
Fully dimmable with a suitable dimmer. A filament globe dimmed to 30% is the closest LED gets to the warm, low, candle-like glow of old incandescent, and it is the setting these globes look best at.
⚠ Dimmable LED globes are fussy about dimmers. Tell us which dimmer you have and we will confirm the pairing — flicker at the bottom of the range is the usual symptom of a mismatch.
⚠ They are not interchangeable. Look at the fitting, not at the old globe, if you are unsure.
Ø64 mm × 138 mm — the standard ST64 envelope, so it fits where a decorative globe is expected. CRI ≥80, IP20 — indoor and dry only, 240 V. Warranty 3 years — which, against a 15,000-hour life, covers a good share of the globe's expected service at domestic hours.
ST64 pear shape, Ø64 mm × 138 mm, clear glass. 7.5 W LED filament (our record says 7.2 W) giving 750 lm at 2700 K or 800 lm at 6500 K. CRI ≥80, 360° emission, fully dimmable with a suitable dimmer. E27 or B22 base. ⚠ 15,000 hours — the shortest life in this catalogue, which is normal for a filament LED. 240 V, IP20 — indoor and dry only. Warranty 3 years.

It is a filament LED — the filaments sit in a glass envelope with nowhere for heat to go, and heat is what ends an LED’s life. That is normal for the type, not a fault, but it is the shortest life in this catalogue by a wide margin against the 35,000 to 50,000 most Domus fittings claim. How it looks. The visible filaments are the point — a warm line of light rather than a frosted blob — so in a clear-glass pendant, an open cage or a bare batten holder, the globe is the design. It also emits 360°, like the incandescent it imitates, which is why it works in bare fittings where a directional LED looks wrong.
Unshaded at eye level, yes — 800 lumens of visible filament is bright. Use it above head height, behind a diffuser, or on a dimmer. Dimmed to about 30% is where these globes look best, and it is the closest LED gets to the warm low glow of old incandescent.
Yes, fully, with a suitable dimmer — and it is half the reason to buy one. Dimmable LED globes are fussy about dimmers, though: tell us which one you have and we will confirm the pairing. Flicker at the bottom of the range is the usual symptom of a mismatch.
2700 K for almost every use — it is the colour of incandescent and it is what makes a filament globe look right. 6500 K is a cold daylight white, which is an unusual thing to pair with a decorative filament: it suits a workshop, garage or crisp retail display, but in a domestic pendant it will look wrong, because the warm visual language of a filament fights a cold colour.
E27 is the Edison screw base common on modern fittings; B22 is the push-and-twist bayonet still found across older Australian homes. They are not interchangeable, so look at the fitting rather than at the old globe if you are unsure.
7.5 W per the datasheet; our record says 7.2. A small difference, but it is the figure printed on the globe and quoted in a specification, so we have published the manufacturer’s.
