LF-ST64 LED Pear Shape Filament Clear Globe

The Domus LF-ST64 is a 7.5 W LED filament globe in the classic ST64 pear shape — clear glass, 750–800 lumens, dimmable, in E27 or B22 and 2700 K or 6500 K.

What a filament globe is actually for

You buy this for how it looks, not for what it does to a room:

• The visible filaments are the point — a warm line of light rather than a frosted blob. In a clear-glass pendant, an open cage, a bare-globe fitting or an exposed batten holder, the globe is the design.
• 360° emission — light in every direction, like the incandescent it imitates. That suits a bare fitting and is why it works where a directional LED looks wrong.
• ⚠ It is a bare source. At eye level, unshaded, 800 lm of visible filament is bright to look at. Use it above head height, behind a diffuser, or on a dimmer.

✅ It dims — and that is half the reason to buy it

Fully dimmable with a suitable dimmer. A filament globe dimmed to 30% is the closest LED gets to the warm, low, candle-like glow of old incandescent, and it is the setting these globes look best at.

⚠ Dimmable LED globes are fussy about dimmers. Tell us which dimmer you have and we will confirm the pairing — flicker at the bottom of the range is the usual symptom of a mismatch.

2700 K or 6500 K — and one of these is unusual

• 2700 K warm white, 750 lm — the one almost everyone wants. It is the colour of incandescent, and it is what makes a filament globe look right.
• ⚠ 6500 K, 800 lm — a cold daylight white, and an unusual thing to pair with a decorative filament. It has real uses — a workshop, a garage, a retail display wanting crispness — but in a domestic pendant it will look wrong, because the warm visual language of a filament fights a cold colour.

E27 or B22 — check before you order

• E27 (Edison screw) — the common base on modern fittings.
• B22 (bayonet) — the push-and-twist base still found across older Australian homes.

⚠ They are not interchangeable. Look at the fitting, not at the old globe, if you are unsure.

Where it works

• Clear-glass pendants, open cages and bare-globe fittings — where the globe is the design.
• Above head height, or on a dimmer.
• Cafes, bars and hospitality — ⚠ but note the 15,000-hour life at long operating hours.
• ⚠ Choose 2700 K unless you have a specific reason not to.
• ⚠ Check E27 or B22 against the fitting.
