This is an 8 W E27 LED globe in the G125 shape — a 125 mm glass sphere, which is a decorative globe rather than a standard one. It is TRIAC dimmable.

G125 is a globe you are meant to see

At ø125 mm this is far larger than an ordinary lamp — it is designed for open fittings where the globe is part of the look: a cage pendant, a bare-flex pendant, a clear-glass wall light. In a shaded fitting most of that size is wasted, and it may not physically fit.

Check it fits before you order

125 mm across and 165 mm long. That is a big lamp. Measure the fitting — particularly the distance from the lampholder to the glass on any enclosed shade.

Dimmable, and warm or cool

It dims on a standard TRIAC dimmer, giving 800 lm at 3000 K or 820 lm at 4000 K, with CRI above 80. Warm white for a living or dining space; 4000 K where you want the light neutral rather than cosy. Choose by order code — it is not switchable.

Supplied and supported by Lights For You. Confirm your dimmer is TRIAC — the wrong dimmer type is the usual cause of flicker and buzz on an LED globe.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

  • Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
  • Credit: will be issued in the form of store credit and will be equal to the price paid.
