Eterna Floor Lamp 2Lt

The Eterna FL2 is a 1,570 mm floor lamp carrying two mouth-blown glass spheres at different heights — in antique gold with opal matt, or black with smoke glass.

Two spheres, deliberately offset

The design is the offset. Two glass globes sit at different heights on the same stem rather than symmetrically — so the lamp reads as a composition from every angle instead of a mirror image. It is why it works in a corner where a symmetrical lamp looks static.

Mouth-blown, so no two are identical

The glass is hand-blown. Slight variation in wall thickness and form is inherent — it is what separates blown glass from moulded, and on a lamp whose whole subject is two glass spheres, it is the point rather than a flaw.

The two finishes are different lamps

• Antique gold with opal matt — warm metal, milky glass. It glows, softly and evenly, and reads traditional.
• Black with smoke glass — dark metal, tinted transparent glass. The globes stay visible and moody rather than glowing, and read contemporary.

Two globes, and plan on buying them

Two E27 holders. Our sources disagree on whether globes are supplied — the sheet says included, the old copy said two are required — so assume you need them and ask us. Buy both together: on a two-sphere lamp a colour mismatch between the globes is the first thing anyone sees.

A long cable

2,400 mm — noticeably longer than the 1,800 mm most lamps here carry, so it reaches a socket across a room without an extension.
