The Domus GLIDE LED light kit is an 18 W light module for a GLIDE ceiling fan, in white or black, with 3000 K / 4000 K / 5000 K.

⛔ Check the fan with us before you order this. A fan light kit is only useful if it fits the fan you already have, and we hold no datasheet for this product — no mounting detail, no compatibility list, no dimensions.

What we can tell you honestly: it is an 18 W module with three switchable colour temperatures, made for the Domus GLIDE fan range. What we cannot tell you from any source we hold: which GLIDE sizes and model years it fits, its lumen output, its diameter, its weight, its IP rating, whether it dims, or its warranty term.

Send us the model number from your fan — it is usually on a label on the motor housing or in the manual — and we will confirm the fit with Domus before anything ships. Ordering this on the strength of the word “GLIDE” alone is how people end up with a part they cannot return fitted.

What a fan light kit is, and when you need one
  • Most ceiling fans are sold in two forms — with a light and without. The kit is the light half, designed to bolt onto the underside of a fan that was bought without one.
  • ✅ It saves a second fitting in the room. A fan in the middle of a ceiling occupies the position a light would otherwise take; the kit puts them back in one place.

The colour switch

Three settings — 3000 K, 4000 K, 5000 K.

  • 4000 K — a study, a rumpus room, a covered outdoor area.
  • 5000 K — rarely right under a fan in a home.

Will it fit my fan?

Send us the model number and we will confirm it with Domus first. We hold no datasheet for this kit — no mounting detail and no compatibility list — so we cannot answer it from the page. Fan light kits are rarely interchangeable between ranges because the mount, the plug and the housing diameter are specific to the fan they were designed for, and ordering on the strength of the name alone is how people end up with a part they cannot return once fitted.

How bright is it?

We do not know, and we are not going to estimate. The only power figure recorded is 18 W and no lumen output exists in any source we hold. As a rule of thumb an 18 W module under a fan gives ambient light for a bedroom or living room rather than task light for a kitchen — but ask us and we will get the real figure.

Can I dim it?

Does it come with the fan or separately?

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
