Product Description

This is an 8 W E27 LED globe in the G95 shape — a 95 mm glass sphere. It is the middle size in the decorative sphere range, between an ordinary A60 and the oversized G125.

G95 fits where G125 will not

At ø95 mm and 135 mm long it is clearly a decorative globe, but 30 mm narrower and 30 mm shorter than the G125. That difference decides it in a smaller cage pendant, a compact cord set, or a wall light where the larger sphere would foul the fitting. Measure before ordering — it is still much bigger than a standard globe.

Dimmable on a standard dimmer

It dims on TRIAC, giving 800 lm at 3000 K or 820 lm at 4000 K, with CRI above 80. Colour is fixed by order code, not switchable — warm white for living and dining spaces, 4000 K where you want neutral rather than cosy.

Made to be seen

Like all decorative spheres, this belongs in an open fitting where the globe is part of the design — a cage pendant, a bare cord set, a clear-glass wall light. Inside a shade, the size and the price are both wasted.

Where it works
  • Open cage and geometric pendants where G125 is too large.
  • Cord sets and bare-flex pendants.
  • Clear-glass wall and table lights.
  • Anywhere a decorative globe is wanted with dimming and LED efficiency.
Specifying it

E27 base, ø95 mm × 135 mm, weighing 0.13 kg, in glass. 8 W, 800–820 lm, CRI >80, TRIAC dimmable. 240 V. Warranty is three years.

Supplied and supported by Lights For You. Confirm your dimmer is TRIAC — the wrong dimmer type is the usual cause of flicker and buzz on an LED globe.

Questions
How big is it?

ø95 mm and 135 mm long — smaller than the G125 but still much larger than a standard globe. Measure your fitting.

How does it compare to the G125?

The G125 is 30 mm wider and 30 mm longer. Choose G95 where the larger sphere would foul the fitting.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, on a TRIAC dimmer. Confirm your dimmer type — the wrong one causes flicker and buzz.

What colour temperatures are there?

Two, fixed by order code: 3000 K at 800 lm or 4000 K at 820 lm. Not switchable.

What fittings suit it?

Open fittings where the globe is seen — cage pendants, cord sets, clear-glass wall lights. Inside a shade the size is wasted.

What base does it take?

E27 — the standard large screw base.

What is the warranty?

Three years.
