The Domus SHADOW 1LT ADJ is an adjustable exterior wall light — 12 V MR16, IP65, 90° tilt and 270° swivel, in seven finishes.

⛔ Its datasheet names a GU10 lamp — and so does its sibling's

• ⭐ The attached sheet says “Lamp: KEY-GU10-TRIO (Included)”. ⭐ This product is MR16 by its title and by its own record.
• ⭐ This sheet is flagged contradicted. ⚠ The downward-only sibling has the identical conflict and its sheet is flagged verified. ⭐ Two different flags, one identical fault — ⭐ which tells you the flag is about whether the sheet belongs to the SKU, not about whether it is correct.
• ⭐ WE HAVE PUBLISHED MR16. ⭐ It is what the title and the record say, and it is what is coherent with a 12 V supply. ⭐ Ask us before ordering lamps.

⭐ 90° tilt and 270° swivel — what that actually buys

• ⭐ The head tilts through a quarter-turn and rotates through three quarters of a circle. ⭐ Practically: one fitting can be aimed straight down, straight out, or anywhere between, and swung to either side.
• ⭐⭐ THE REASON THAT MATTERS IS AIMING AFTER INSTALLATION. ⭐ Exterior lighting is almost never right on paper — the tree grows, the render reflects more than expected, the beam catches a window. ⭐ A fixed fitting has to be moved to fix that; this one is re-aimed.
• ⭐ SO THE ADJUSTABLE VERSION IS WORTH THE DIFFERENCE ON ANY POSITION WHOSE JOB IS NOT CERTAIN — ⭐ grazing a wall, highlighting planting, lighting a path from above. ⚠ For a doorway that will only ever be lit downward, the fixed version is simpler and has one fewer joint to weather.
• ⚠ One consequence to plan for: an adjustable head can be aimed into a neighbour's window or upward into the sky. ⭐ Aim it on commissioning and check it from the boundary, not from directly beneath.

⭐ Tricolour lamp included — three colour temperatures in the fitting

⭐ The supplied lamp switches between three colour temperatures. ⭐ Outdoors that is more useful than it sounds: warm light flatters brick, timber and planting, while cooler light gives better definition on rendered walls and improves camera clarity at night. ⭐ Being able to choose after the fitting is up — against the actual surface, at night — removes a decision that is genuinely hard to make from a drawing. ⭐ Set every fitting on a facade to the same setting; mixed colour temperatures across one elevation read as a fault.

⭐ 12 V, and why it suits an exterior run

⭐ The sheet notes 240 V or 12 V DC with a driver. ⭐ This is the 12 V version: mains stays out of the wall and out of the fitting, several fittings can share one driver, and the driver sits somewhere dry and accessible. ⚠ The trade is voltage drop — at 12 V a long cable run visibly dims the far fitting. ⭐ Tell us the run and the fitting count and we will size cable and driver together.
