⭐ Up AND down — the difference from the PIPER-PRO-1

• ⭐ The PRO-1 is down-only: one lamp, all the light onto the wall below. ⭐ This PRO-2 has two lamps and throws up as well as down.
• ⭐ An up/down fitting makes a wall into a feature — ⭐ two triangles of light meeting at the fitting, which reads as deliberate architecture rather than as a light doing a job.
• ⚠ The upward half is also the half that causes trouble. ⭐ It throws light at the sky, at an eave, and potentially at a neighbour's upstairs window — ⚠ so near a boundary or under a low soffit, the down-only PRO-1 is the better neighbour.
• ⭐ Under a deep eave the up-light also has nowhere to go — ⭐ it lands on the soffit a metre above and the effect is lost. ⭐ Up/down wants a tall, open wall face.
• ⭐ Two lamps also means twice the load and twice the replacements — ⭐ 2 × 10 W rather than one.
