The Domus HALO is an indirect LED wall light in black or white — 8 W or 15 W, IP65, dimmable, with switchable 3000 K / 4000 K / 5700 K.

✅ It is IP65, and it is filed as an indoor light. Our catalogue lists this under Indoor Wall Lights and its title says nothing about weather. Its own web address says exterior, and IP65 — dust tight and protected against water jets from any direction — is one of the more capable exterior ratings in this range.

So it works in both places: a façade, an entry, a courtyard or a fence line outdoors, and a hallway, stairwell or bedhead indoors. If you were looking for an exterior wall light, this is one and you would not have found it.

What “indirect” means, and why it is the reason to buy this

An indirect wall light throws no light at you. The source is concealed and aimed at the wall, so what you see is the lit surface:

  • No glare at any angle — which is what makes it usable at eye level, beside a bed, along a hallway or beside a front door, where a direct fitting would be uncomfortable.
  • The wall becomes a soft broad wash rather than a bright point, so the fitting reads as architecture.
  • ⚠ The wall does the work. A grazing wash shows every patch, bump and roller mark. On a poorly finished wall it is unforgiving; on good render, brick or stone it is excellent.

  • Both project only 50 mm, which is slim — it will not catch a shoulder in a narrow hallway or a passage beside a house.
  • The 8 W suits a rhythm along a hallway, a stairwell, or either side of a door.
  • The 15 W suits a larger façade, a courtyard wall, or a single feature position where you want the wash to reach.

No datasheet exists for this product, and no lumen figure is recorded in any source — for either size.

That is the figure that decides whether an 8 W indirect fitting lights your hallway or merely marks it, and we are not going to estimate it from the wattage. Tell us the position and we will get the output from Domus before you order. The same goes for the warranty, which is also unrecorded.

Choosing the colour, and dimming it
  • 3000 K warm — the usual right answer on a façade, on brick, timber or warm render, and beside a bed.
  • 4000 K neutral — for grey or white modern render, and for a stairwell where you want clarity.
  • ⚠ 5700 K — colder and bluer than the 5000 K many people expect. Rarely right on a house.

✅ It dims, which is unusual on an exterior wall light and genuinely useful on an indirect one — a wall wash at 30% is a completely different room from the same wash at full. ⚠ Tell us the dimmer you intend to use.

IP65 — dust tight and protected against water jets, so driving rain and hosing down are within rating. Aluminium, 90° beam, 220–240 V, hard-wired, licensed electrician.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.
